It is actually hard for people to take precautions on their personal information especially that which concerns to their privacy keys, I don't see how someone should be that foolish enough to store their personal information on apple iCloud knowing to well that information could be leaked or expose. Of course,. offline is the best place to store their seedphrase jot it down and duplicate them into various places that you alone has access to it than having to store them on one personal devices.

This world is still full enough with foolish people who never try to understand risk and always put things in places where they always have a chance of loss or theft despite the danger of life being ruined, and they will never be able to recover this after once lost. I learned the first lesson: not your keys, not your coins, because there are many stories where people lost them due to just not taking precautions.
Never trust any online store or place with your privacy because they always have flaws, and this could always have a chance of giving you losses. Always keep your things under your own control. Securing things offline is always recommended because this gives a better way of security, and also use different methods because risking only one is also problematic. Having a duplicate system will increase security.

I experienced this same backup of recovery phrase to google drive when i was creating trust wallet. So for trust wallet and Robinhood to have google drive back up of recovery phrase i think it is google that integrate it there. However, backing up recovery phrase to google drive is totally wrong it is the easiest way to lose your coin to an unknown person, if someone breaks through your google account or your google account get exposed through the website you logged in, a third party can have access to your recovery phrase, and you will lose your coins. What do you expect from another so open source wallet like trust wallet, I don't trust the wallet as I do with other complete open source wallets like electrum. For me,  it's risky using trust wallet to store coins especially after learning about it's browser extension I only use it for transactions purposes and not to store my coins. Lastly, imo, with how the wallet suggests a google drive save for users with their seed phrase, it can be dangerous for complete newbies since they may not know yet that it's not a safe practice saving seed phrase online.

I don’t blame those that are still fooling when it comes to take a risks because in life anyone who really want to achieve something have to take a little risks in order to win, but some people’s will be thinking they wise they will be have a plan to win big whereby they don’t wan to take risks. There are some newbies that will learn from their mistakes before they will start improving in this crypto industry, because they have learned from their mistakes. When a person becomes aware of himself, he can protect himself from big losses. There are still many people who do not become aware until the loss occurs, when they actually phrase a big loss, as a result of which they adopt awareness which is not right at all. Right, mistakes do happen daily but choosing to repeat other people's mistakes is entirely their choice, because the reason why people do share their mistakes or challenges is to learn from them and avoid repeating them. But some people still choose to take the risk, thinking their own story might be different and until the same thing happens to them they won't learn, this overconfidence often leads them into pitfalls. It's because humans defaulted to shortcuts and easy life. That's why they just write their seed phrase on their emails or safe it into cloud storage. And when they are hacked and they lost their crypto, they blame everyone but except themselves.

Sometimes if you are advising some people, they always think that, they are very smart not knowing that, that smartness will lead them to a greater loss, addition to what you have even recommend, i don't see any big deal for someone to get a pen and paper to write it down, I think this is the most simplest and also safest to save this seed phrase. A lot of people see it as waste of time because normally they have not had a wallet before that has been compromised, that is why they are not taking it serious, but I don't want them to experience that because it is very painful.

How ridiculous is the argument that is said. In Crypto you shouldn't care how big the platform is, if you are still asked or encouraged to back up the seed phrase online.
At the very least, storing the seed phrase must be offline, because if you store it online, it is like entrusting your financial life to someone else.

Once the data is leaked or their servers are hacked, the asset can be instantly lost without being able to be recovered. The basic principle of crypto is self-custody, not trust to third parties.

I think people generally tend to trust "big names or organizations" and let others take care of their finances, life, work, etc.
It's much easier and more comfortable than investing your own time and effort to learn something new, gain new knowledge and skills, and be independent of others.
Big investment firms have long been advertising their BTC-linked ETFs, making it seem like a much easier and simpler way for ordinary people to enter the crypto world than taking on the personal responsibility of buying crypto assets and keeping private keys.

It is not a good idea to keep any kind of personal information online, just like it is not a good idea to keep a picture online. There are many people who do not want to keep anything in Google Backup and they never keep anything in Google Backup. The biggest reason for this is personal privacy. We can be hacked at any time and all our confidential information can be leaked. So it is a good idea to keep everything offline.

It is never a good idea to keep our Seed Phrase online and it is never a good idea to keep a picture of it. You can write down your Seed Phrase in an offline place, this is the best idea and a good way to protect yourself from hackers and hackers.

This is wrong! Google doesn't have a hand in such integration, Google doesn't interfere with how you build your app, they only show you to upload it in their site after paying for the developer account. That integration was done by Robinson devs, maybe they ignorantly wanted to make backup process  easier for the investor.
They might have good intentions, but it turns out to be a trap instead and if they were still updating that wallet, then it should've been removed by now. I don't know if they're still updating that wallet. Devs should be informed of good security practices. That alone is a red flag for me, I'll not proceed to using a wallet that has such an option, there could be more vulnerability that lies within.

It's not Google that integrates it, but it's the platform or developers of the wallet that integrate this option because Google allows everyone to use their services through APIs and stuff. However, it doesn't matter who integrates it, the problem is that some people actually use that option because they don't know much and they don't realize that this is going to put them under the risk of their wallet getting compromised if something happens to their Google account. They don't realize that it's a security threat and they shouldn't go for it.

Mostly, people opt for such options because they believe it's convenient for them to simply use cloud services to store their seed phrase so that they can easily use the same wallet in different devices by logging into their Google account, but they don't understand that this convenience comes with certain risks, and that one should never compromise on the security of their wallets or financial accounts, because attackers are always looking for people they can easily target.
