It looked really promising at the start. There were a lot of people who held the same belief as Drake.

If I had seen a post that mentioned Drake betting on Argentina, I really wouldn't have changed my mind despite the whole Drake curse that is known by all. I would have stood by my choice (I didn't bet though)...

Maybe, in the next big game, he's going to break, but for now, he should accept the fact that he lost.

The coincidence here is that I have just saw a post on my Instagram feed about this exact bet Drake made, and just funny how he keeps losing these bets with large numbers. I couldn’t understand yet if he is doing it on purpose to gain more attention or he is truly so unlucky and not analyzing his choices well.
In this case, he has so many other choices than betting on winning, for example the number of corner kick is a great deal. He also could bet that large sum with a double chance, which means this draw could make him win a great amount of money.

My advice is that everyone should never follow his crazy bets, the curse is real guys, LOL. I believe that one day he will finally find a winning bet and break the curse, but it will happen when he takes things more seriously as a fan of football.

How come Drake risking a large money to bet although he can do that easily. People who watch his bet need to realize that Drake might not choose the right selection so they need to analyze more the opponent or maybe choose the opponent. Cashing out just because Drake placed a bet on Argentina. Wow! I would not do that. Sure, Drake may have a bad record when it comes to gambling in most of the big events in sports, but still, this is just a coincidence, and there's always a chance that Argentina might win that match.
Anyway, it's not just Drake who lost in this bet. Many did. I bet some rich people put a lot of money into Argentina and lost it.

Surely drake has been known for losing huge amount on team that will not win, it's not a joke though because I have seen some thread here on this forum where he has staked and lose and it has become a famous topic even in the internet, but However I don't blame him for picking Argentina to win with $1.5m because that game was predicted that Argentina must win, because of Messi while some said because they believe This world cup will be rigged by FIFA to favor Argentina. This matter was already the talk of the Town, and aside drake, many people bet on Argentina to win. But it was just unfortunate that drake has to lose this time as a stake ambassador.

On a second thought, that guy that cashed out because drake staked on Argentina must be really mean to do that without even giving him another chance to see if his believe is true about drake or not, I guess he will be happy now and feeling that his instincts where right afterall

I would not say "he must quits to gamble" - but these kinds of bets are definetely wrong for the audience. Personally I see as a bad promo for sports gambling.
A sum like this, doesn't belong to anything related gambling - it's also a single player making such a risk in a single match.

Blaming the lose game to the bets itself as curse is nonsense since bet is not directly affect the game rather it’s the other way around which the match itself gives the significant impact on the bet.  

I think Drake is just so good on betting losing bet and that was his curse technique. Maybe he should change his strategy by betting against himself to start lifting this curse completely.

I thought this was Argentina time for B2B champ but Spain solid defense and tenacity makes them more deserving to be a champ.

I guess the Drake curse is one of those things people joke about, and we had a few threads about him & his losses here on the forum. At the same time, it's funny how many people actually take it seriously... if some bettor cashed out just because he saw Drake is betting on Argentina, that's wild. Superstition level max!

By the way, I am sure he places bets that never go public... so I wouldn't be surprised if he is winning a lot as well.

And one more thing, maybe he placed the same bet on Spain... think about it.

Since we all know that this is common for a gambling "ambassador". Even on other platforms or with other celebrities. When will people understand that there is no such thing as Drake curse. He isnt losing all big stakes he has made. It is media who are pointing out only on lost bets (and are happy when rich guy loses money), and completely ignore bets that Drake has won. It's the media that created this so called Drake curse. And they only magnified it if Drake did lost his bets. But there are bet that Drake won and so they didn't put that much emphasized on that. And as far as betting goes, it's Spain that is the slight favorite to win and so with that, they have a high chance to become the champion.

But it looks like Drake is riding on the hype of Argentina and Messi and thinks that they can pull this upset win. But Argentina is not bothered by it and so they've raised the trophy this year. It's their own cup of tea to feel that Drake gave them the bad luck because it doesn't make any sense to me. I've never taken Drake's bets seriously. I've always felt they were some kind of marketing stunt, either to promote a casino or to draw attention to a bet that was expected to lose.
