Growing up we were told that certain things automatically leads to happiness, success like getting a degree, owing a house early, having a high paid job, getting married before a certain age, buying luxury cars and many more but as people grow and gain experience, many begin to question those beliefs.

Personally, I’ve noticed that some goals looks just Impressive form the outside but don’t always improve someone’s quality of life. On that other hand, some simple things like having peace of mind, good health, financial stability, meaningful relationship or having control over your own time often becomes much more valuable.

Recently on the youtube shorts I saw funny video about lifes biggest lie - "tell me truth, there will be nothing for you for this" (means you wont get punished or you wont be in trouble) (that is a free translation from Russian language). Partly it is true. As children we got nothing for telling true, no cartoons, sweets or going outside to play. Or, if that phrase was used on public, but at home we still received punishment. Doctors used to lie that "it wont hurt". As to biggest list when we are adults - whole world is a lie

Many of us would have experienced several lies since the time we were in the childhood stage, but today we will discover that all these are no more to believe in after facing the reality, life is not that cruel to us, but people tend to present it in another way that looks somehow unbelievable by what they say.

The biggest lie I was told from childhood was "everything would be fine".
I would prefer it if I were told the truth that life has its own plans for us. There are ups and downs, good times and bad times, rainy days and sunny days.
Some days we will have less, while some days we have more. At times it is better, other times it is worse. This is the reality of life. Adulting shouldn't be lying that things will always be fine because, as kids, we grew up believing it before we realised it.

Growing up there were so many lies which most of us believed not because we understood anything because it was what has been said any generally acceptable in the society where we found ourselves we have nothing to figure out since the majority of the people already accepted the fact. First they made us to understand that having so many children shows that you are wealthy, whatever your parents tells you is the truth and nothing but the truth but right now we now understand that most of those things are lies. Your number of children has nothing to do with your wealth and our parents can lie to make us do what they what us to do we now have the right to research and discover the truth by ourselves unlike before.

Society has made to believe many things from childhood ranging from religion, tradition and culture but in all parenting upbringing suits the paste for child learning that’s why personally when I grew up to understand life, I rejected many things my parents initially wants us to pattern like the kind of church, professional graduates student they want you to become, herbs drugs as best remedies for healing by taking you to a native doctor or herberlist to treat you, when modern hospital is there, and lots more like I have to do I love than what they love

Honestly for me, one thing that the society is pushing too much is the Idea or fact that everyone must achieve success at same age or follow a particular pathway. As I grow older, I have realized that you see life is not a competition and everyone of us has different journey. Some people can marry early, others can decide to build a business first, some will also decide to focus on career and education. None of these automatically means that one person has passed the other person. I have come to learn that good health, financial stability, peace of mind and genuine relationship is much more valuable than running after milestones just to impress people. At the end, real success is not just you meeting up with society's expectations, but the real success is when you're living a life that gives you fulfilment or satisfaction.

Sometimes when one remember the lie that our parents, teachers or doctors told us, one will just laugh over it or cry over it, but come to think of it, at times they don't mean any harm to us, as they may think they are protecting us or motivate one to keep going without quitting but there are some people that prefer to know the truth no matter how bitter it may seems to be. And again telling the truth is good as it will protect one in the future.

Those are not goals those are just outdated competition that has proven to not be worth it, this type of competition painted to be goals has led people into making criminal decisions chasing money, people have gotten into the wrong marriages and other decisions that caused them pain.
If you naturally and genuinely achieve those goals without wanting to prove anything then good for you but if you are chasing after them because of public admiration then you have your thoughts in the wrong place.

To me it has got to be religion. And when you try to ask logical questions, no one seems to know, and everything is just a mystery. The gods we worship accross the world always seem to be different, but the devil is always the same.

There is no way someone is going to convince me that there is another life after the one we have right now. Who knows that the paradise we seek is right here on earth in the present day? Once you die, your life is over. You sleep forever, just like those goats, cows, and chickens that we slaugher everyday for a meal.

Thing that I believe now is not worth chasing think that society ask us to do so is the idea of chasing or trying to impress the other people with your wealth or with your status, there are people who spend their whole livesworking to buy expensive items and things just to impress others but they actually don't need them because they believe that their success is something that is being measured by others.

Over the time I have come to know that looks can be deceiving there are people who have big houses and luxury cars but still they are struggling with stress they have huge debt that they have to pay or they are living very unhappy lives while there are people who are having very simple lives but still they have peace of mind there have good health and they have strong relationship with each other.

Society is putting too much pressure on people to just follow a fixed timeline like they mostly think that you get graduated by the certain age and you have to get married you have to buy house to live and then you have to figure out everything by 30 but life does not work the same way for everyone there people who becomes successful they compete with their timeline but there are people whoes growth rate is slow they have huge responsibilities to meet but the timeline is different as compared to the other one.

The biggest lie we are told is that certain achievements guarantee happiness, like getting a degree, buying a house or landing a high paying job. But when you actually get there, you realize those things don't always bring peace of mind. Some people have all that and are still miserable, while others with less are truly content and living life in a very pleasing manner. Society pushes us to chase things that look good on paper, but they don't always feel good in reality. What matters more is health, freedom and meaningful connections. Everything else is just background noise.

We might be living in a smart time and capable of doing things our own smart way, but that's never to say that most of the things that were passed down to us were entirely false. For instance when you're talking about marriage, it might just seems like what adds mere status to you but in real sense there's more to marriage than to that because it helps you stay focused on yourself and life in general.

Sole school systems might have her downs to an extent but education in general is nothing close to being looked at as a waste.  We all don't need to get a college degree but getting one is very neccesary for the overall mental growth of a person. If we want to take about how irrelevant some things are, then life wouldn't be worth living to start with.

Actually this of what you've said is the very definition of success, being rich and wealthy these days. But having a peace of mind, you can sleep any time you want or having able to have the right amount of rest. Huge houses, luxury items, having a lot of cars. As I grow older, I've realized, if you're only few then a small simple modest house is enough and having a garden in it and those luxurious items, thank goodness that I am not into it except for BTC.  
And let's take the example of many athletes, they've splurged their wealth into these things when they can only ride one car at a time, live in one house at time. Financial freedom and real life freedom where your time isn't attached to any company just to work I think is the big realization of many now because life is uncertain, so we appreciate these things that we have now.

I remember how I threw a snowball to girls face, then she cried and complained to parents, but I lied that it wasnt me. I remember mother said that she wont punish me if I confess, and all I have to do is to go and apologize. Of course I was later punished at home, and when father came home from work he has also punished me. I was forbidden to watch tv/cartoons for 2 weeks. That was biggest lie from my childhood. I know that lying is bad, but tricking (also lying btw) a child to confess, promise not to punish but punish in the end - is that fair? Punishment after confession at least should be less strict.

Well, i have heard a couple things. It's not like they were complete lies, but it's just that they were never 100% true.
One of the things I learnt was... "Good things happen to good people, and bad things happen to bad people". Afaik, the universe doesn't seem to reward the bad for their wrong doings, and same thing goes for those who do good. Those who do bad get away with it like nothing ever happend. It's funny how we have some of these people in government, who take advantage of the people they represent. We see them stealing from their own nation, causing problems with others by starting a war, creating global tensions, manipulating their own people, etc. majority of them get away with it at the end.

If all this things are the component of happiness that society gave us the impression about they are actually right and we have to ask ourselves a simple question, don't we really want to be rich at early age? Or start building our family when we are young?, although in our life happiness doesn't only come from what we own or things we have accomplished but with a simple life we could also find peace, happiness and we could build family in it but however there is more fulfilment in the happiness and peace we have when we are wealthy than when a person doesn't own anything so actually even if society has misleaded people in some of there theories but they actually spoke the truth in things like this.

I think the problem starts when people feel that they must follow the same definition of success without considering what actually fits their own life. The value is not in rejecting those goals but recognizing that they are not the only path to living life to the fullest.

Some people will make sure they discourage others that are interested in achieving something all because they couldn't mass out to achieve that same target or benefits in life, this is why we must not always believe people by what they say, you should be able to log into some situation critically and see that they really appear the way you are being told and not that people are being malicious in pretense to what they told us about life.

The media have brainwashed us into believing that beauty is having a slim stature, radiant skin, graceful movement, and so on. This made me focus on women with such descriptions. I have grown to know that true beauty is not determined by just physical appearance. Everyone should have their own benchmark for classifying beauty, not from the media or an organisation. Now, I try to get close to people to observe their behaviour instead of depending solely on physical appearance.
