The one I think is worth talking about is the one that says education guarantees success. That's the biggest lie of them all and everyone is buying into it day in day out. It's so sad that at the end when they notice it, they feel more sad. There's no universal law for success. Everyone should just find their own part and make sure they have fun doing it. The media have brainwashed us into believing that beauty is having a slim stature, radiant skin, graceful movement, and so on. This made me focus on women with such descriptions. I have grown to know that true beauty is not determined by just physical appearance. Everyone should have their own benchmark for classifying beauty, not from the media or an organisation. Now, I try to get close to people to observe their behaviour instead of depending solely on physical appearance.

Media is creating very unrealistic standards for measuring beauty, but I think that beauty is something from inside, and it is influenced by someone's personal preferences, but still, it is partially subjective. Sometimes what society considers attractive changes over the period of time, and it also changes across cultures. So there is not even a single definition of beauty. It is true that physical appearance can attract someone's attention in the early stages, but the character, kindness, confidence and behaviour of a person determine that how he get value for long run. We should never judge someone by the standards that are promoted by the social platforms or by the media

Growing up we were told that certain things automatically leads to happiness, success like getting a degree, owing a house early, having a high paid job, getting married before a certain age, buying luxury cars and many more but as people grow and gain experience, many begin to question those beliefs.

Personally, I’ve noticed that some goals looks just Impressive form the outside but don’t always improve someone’s quality of life. On that other hand, some simple things like having peace of mind, good health, financial stability, meaningful relationship or having control over your own time often becomes much more valuable.

To me the word Jesus is coming soon is one thing people sold to us that got me worried growing up as a child. I became so worried to a point that i was afraid that i will return from school and will not meet my parents or siblings and that made me to run from school to the house every time school is over. Then i said to myself could this be a myth? Or a legendary story and my grandfather told me that no one know when he will come and that gave me a relaxed mindset.

It wasn't a lie when I was going through university.  No internet back in 1988, so the only way you could get a job was to learn and impress.  Today interfaces are so user friendly and AI stands as backup so ignorance is not as harsh.   Today you don't need education as long as you have your smartphone.

Well today I see many things as deceitful and lies, I grow up in environment where certain fruit or plant are considered poisonous and not edible, because they have limited knowledge about those things but after moving to different locations I realized that those things condemned in my formal residents is good for health and are food to most occupant in another location, lies comes in different form this may look simple but most lie is as result of people knowledge been limited towards what what they claimed to be truth, secondly I was deceived during my childhood when seen some strange wind like well wind that revolve or rotate as demonic but after gotten scientific knowledge it mere natural occurance rather than having spiritual attachment.

I think it is indeed a partial lie. Because first we were told that if we want to succeed, we need to find a well paid job. To achieve that we must study hard at school to get into university. When we are at university, we were told that graduating and getting a diploma is a must to get a well paid job. But when we pass all those stages, we are told that our future and success depends only from us, not from out grades and diplomas. Quite a lie for me when first grades and diplomas matter, but later it matter only from me and be at right place and time.

People tell many big lies in their lives which we usually do not take seriously. Right from the time we wake up until we go to sleep again, we tell many lies, especially in my life I have told many lies.
When my favorite friends ask me to borrow money, I tell them this exact lie that I have no money. Even then I have a lot of money but when I lend them money, they do not pay me back, that is why I am forced to lie.

I have seen many people who did not succeed even with a degree. I have seen many people who owned a house at a young age but were unable to maintain it. I can talk about many people whose salaries are now much higher and their expenses are also much higher. So it is not true that having these things will guarantee success, rather we were taught such things from a young age. It is not that I am denying the importance of a degree, a job or a house. They can bring opportunities, security and stability in our lives. But the main point of what I am saying is not that having these things will guarantee success. I have also seen people who are successful today without a degree.

Yeah this has in fact made a lot of young people, especially graduates to become very lazy you know. Having that expectation that getting out of school with good grades would immediately land them a high paying job has made them really lazy. Although, there was actually a time that graduates didn’t really have to stay jobless for long, but times have changed and it would be foolishness not to move along with it. We have moved passed that era, this now is the time to be smart and hard working (that’s if you’re not connected) and it doesn’t matter whether you have some degree or not.

Everyone grew up with that mentality but now that we are grown, we understand that life is far above those things we call necessity. Of course having money will solve some life problems and make someone to live a good and fulfilling life but it might not actually make you happy because there is more to life than the way we think. Life is not about our achievements, but how many life we have been able to touch positively. A lot of people do not know this but how do people live comfortably, while the next person around them is struggling with life. Being impactful to the society is the greatest achievement anybody can get in life. Most of the things we grew up chasing has ruined many people who were too eager to meet up those life's obligations so we should be careful with our choices and what we involve ourselves in just to please the society.

Education is the best key way to get access to knowledge but it's never an access to riches or success. Many youths outside that only rely on education as a key to success, without acquiring any skills or having business become jobless today. Must especially in Africa countries today that jobs are only for those with connections not good qualifications. Honestly it's obvious that the real way for success is to mix up education and skills in order to become successful in life.

Just because you didnt succeed or your success is irrelevant to your degree doesnt mean your parents lied to you or degree is worthless.

A lot of people who did that became rich and successful. So there's no lie here. I suppose the problem here is you literally took your parents' advice.

They never said a degree would guarantee your success. They were simply showing you path that could give you a better future.

You are absolutely correct because that was what year we are all advocating for which up to now we have not seen it, again test particular one which they say children's are the leaders of tomorrow, in that particular period I was aiming to be the president of my country, so that I can be able to correct some of the things which they are doing, but up to this moment I am getting old and I don't see any sign of be coming to be a leader. All these are all lies which we have known that it is not working, many people are so rich today without going to school and also people you don't expect to lead are our leaders today.
