Established is probably the right word at this point. With BlackRock as operator of a Bitcoin ETF, publicly traded companies adding it to their balance sheets and government investment funds considering investment, it is no longer guessing, it is mainstream big company setup.
Illegal online network association was always over done, to begin with. Far more illegal activity takes place with cash than ever did with Bitcoin, and no one accuses cash of being shady currency. It is just this new and misunderstood thing that Bitcoin received that reputation early. What has changed is that same folks that said decade ago that it is not worth funding are funding it now. It is more of sign of the fact that Bitcoin is becoming deeply rooted than any chart. Question isnt whether or not bitcoin has taken hold, it is how far bitcoin is going to take hold in the coming decade. The foundation seems to be in place.

However, it's attributes makes it impossible to resist by DarkNet Markets users and other people who use bitcoin for the wrong reasons. What do you actually mean by global adoption because what I know is when the adoption is spread everywhere and limited to just certain places like specific countries and bitcoin is seriously for everyone as it is been used by every country and not limited to certain states. So bitcoin has that global adoption already, I know the defense that will come will be that everybody is using it, but everybody doesn’t need to use it, once it has gotten to their region that’s global adoption already.

The limitation that you will actually say is that bitcoin isn’t a global legal tender which will be very hard to come by because of the government backed fiat currencies to which government sees bitcoin as a threat to. I'm sorry to disappoint you. The way you are viewing and looking at bitcoin is from the wrong direction. Bitcoin being used and embraced by institutional investors does not take away bad actors from using it to do whatever they usually use it for.

You can just say, right now, bitcoin is seen clearly for what it is for, more than people usually look at it from the perspective of bad actors only being the ones to be using it more than regular people. It's just that no Mather how good a technology is, there just are some people ready to exploit it's other side of it. Bitcoin had already been established long ago, it's still under growth but that's different. But Bitcoin has been established much earlier than its own position. Despite the fact if people may have used it as their medium of exchange in those dark web. Because since Bitcoin was launched in 2009, it has always been a digital currency that gives power to individuals to have full control over their funds. Ane judging by your analogy, yu can't argue that people don't use our different country fiats for shady activities. So does that mean that was it's primary purposes? If it’s not established a politician wouldn’t use it as campaign tactics to get a certain group of people to vote them or support them. So bitcoin in my opinion has been established ever since its beginning days. A 10% drop in the value of gold in a year is quite alarming, but a 30% drop in the value of Bitcoin in a month is still considered normal. Established does not mean safe and not volatile. Bitcoin has been accepted, recognized and will never disappear, but its value is not yet stable and it is not yet commonly used as a means of daily transactions. As a classy asset, Bitcoin is well-established because it has passed the test of existence, will not be banned completely and will not die or be abandoned because it is labeled a scam.

You are right dear. Established does not necessarily mean stable, this is major wrong idea that many new mobility users have. That is trust sorted with BlackRock holding Bitcoin, governments making it legal tender and corporations keeping it on their balance sheets. However it is not accepted in your grocery store and likely not going to be in the near future.
In my opinion, Bitcoin has become dual personalities. One is as store of value and that is already done process, and the other is as daily currency, which is still in progress. Although Lightning Network is making things happen, it will be years before large use for daily payments comes about. It is possible for both of these to be true at same time.

Investment changes from 11% in 2021 to 9% in 2025 while any use changes from 12% to 10% during same period, while if you look at percents for "Used cryptocurrency to buy something or make a payment" or "Used cryptocurrency to send money to friends or family", they are fluctuating around 1% to 2% only, too low.

Its really true situation that Bitcoin while Bitcoin adoption spreading on mainstream, it also became more regulated now. I also think that this is part of the growth of this coin.

But despite of those regulation happening the usage of Bitcoin does not actually change. Because there's nothing change on network and its still the same, people can still use it to do p2p transaction and its still borderless and permission less which people love about Bitcoin even before.

What actually change is the way how people use it, most of people now rely on regulated KYC exchange and also apps than doing direct p2p to other people globally. So what happen in that sense is Bitcoin became fell less as the internet case.
