No most of the time not. As general rule = the more you play, the more money will do the bookmaker.
So offering more odds/games/options = would lead to more money for them (just because you play and lose more).
Plus, most of these options, give the impression to the players to "be in control" or to access to easy bets that have decent odds.
it can be true to be honest, some of these options are offering impressive returns, just to think on corners/cards.
polymarket and similar platforms are just offering the same idea but in a different shape - most pushing for an "extreme" personalization and p2p gambling.

I don't know how long you start betting on sports but most of these options you mentioned are not newly introduced options. I have known about ov/un goals and corners since I started betting. 2up and 1up options are actually the new options I can see here. I have not used either of these two options but I believe they are introduced to lure people into gambling.

If you know how to make use of them correctly, it increases your chances to win. I do bet on over and under goals and corners often and I can rate the chance of winning 7/10 compared to other options like 1X2. If two attacking teams are playing each other, they will likely play corner kicks not less than 8 in full time. I don't find them more interesting at all, I found them more complicated to say the truth, it just makes winning even more harder, betting on winner seems safer than scores or red card and others, a simple 1-0 is a win and a 3-4 is also still a win.

I feel like they are just adding more ways for gamblers to keep losing money, let's see what people keep saying about this, as for me I don't see how any of these is going to help gamblers.

It's all about them, with these adding ups they will keep making more money from gamblers, your win rate isn't just the same, it becomes even more complicated.

I don't think they help people win more. The casino doesn't want you to win, because your win is their loss and your loss is their win. The more options is to make betting more interesting. When it becomes more interesting, more people will gamble on that site.
Different people like betting on different options, so if some options are not on a site, the people that love those options won't come to that site.

For me, the most interesting option that I have come to love and have also helped me is the cash out option, although it's different from what you're're saying, but I just feel this one covers all the other betting options, and if we talk about how helpful it has been for gamblers, I think a great deal of people will agree that the introduction of cash out to sport betting is simply unmatched, as for the new option that are being introduced to the game, I don't really like exploring that much so I stick with the basics @three way option which is either home win, draw or away win then maybe bet on goals.

Yes, i've been doing this when betting on dota2 or on esports on which im not only that making bets on the match or map winner but also i would be going for those other options like first 10 kills, roshan kills, over or under on a certain game duration and many more, but of course it will really be that requiring more funds for you to bet and on this case whenever i do have that budget for that particular day on betting then i would be making out that division with that bankroll on that particular day. The good thing on here is that you might be able to lose up on other options you have bet on but the other one could also be a winning one on which it will be might covering out the loses or even making profits but of course everything would be basing up on the odds and this is why checking out the odds whether its worth to bet on or not.

For a bettor who is actively chasing every betting option just for the money, they will rather be increasing their chances of losing more money. Having more betting options isn't in the best interest of bettors but is entirely in favour of betting platforms. More betting options might result in distractions.
