I am not even sure if this is the proper place to talk about this but there is some type of trend that recently started to really annoy me.  It happens on the Service Discussion section.  I have a few Topics I am keeping up to date with almost every day and I am being already saturated with replies that either state the obvious or that seem to boot lick the platform only so they can have another new post for the day.  Such as pages 12 to 13 of the 0trace Topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5577836.220),

I am sorry in advance if I offended anyone who I quoted, I did not even look at most of the Usernames and this is not a personal attack to any of you.  I am simply very annoyed and saturated of reading boot licks on at least half of the Topic page of so many Topics lately, it is starting to look like Gambling Discussion moved to the Service Discussion section.

I was notified by my telegram bot that I have been mentioned by PrivacyG, when I first received the notification I thought it was on the thread I created a few hours ago on Bitcoin discussion board which you already commented on the thread.  

So, after finishing the post I was drafting to post on the gambling section, I decided to see the reason why I was mentioned by you, and frankly speaking, I don't even understand the reason why I was mentioned here. I started writing on the 0ctrace thread from the page 3 of the thread till date, so it's not as if I start posting on the 0ctrace thread just yesterday.

There are threads where I usually go to write on the service discussion and the 0ctrace thread happens to be one of them, and as the matter of fact I also write on other crypto swap exchanges thread. So can you please explain to me the reason why I was mentioned here, because I'm not boot licking the 0ctrace exchange and I don't write on the 0ctrace exchange thread to complete my post quarter for the week.

If you take a look at my post history you will notice that I do create threads from time to time, and inside this month of August I have created a thread already and I also have  the recent one I created a few days ago.

You mentioned me here and I’m not offended by that, everyone has right of speech and opinion, however I still don’t understand why you are interested with what people have to say about a particular exchange, is the exchange a scam or you just don’t like the too much activity going on over there.
I went through all the post you quoted and I see nothing different from ANN thread discussion that is going on in different ANN thread or do you have personal issues with 0trace?
Okay talking about my post on that thread that you quoted what is actually wrong with it I want to know?

PrivacyG you need to understand that people have their different preference and how they write and lastly those who are interested in the exchange will always follow them up in their ANN thread or are you saying their customers or those who are interested in them should stop following their thread or stop writing on it?

Did 0trace complain about the discussions going on over there, if they don’t want discussions going on there they can simply create a self moderated ANN thread so they can delete any comment they don’t like, as for me I don’t trust any service that makes there ANN thread self moderated is a red flag.

I know you say you're not trying to defend yourself or whatever but even someone not trying very hard should be able to earn more than 18 merits in a year. The gambling discussion boards are never going to produce much in the form of merit, but branching out to other boards will give you a better chance. Keep that in mind in the future, assuming you decide to stick around.

I think it will be better to permaban everyone listed in this list and everyone gaining less than 365 merit a year. We can negotiate to subtract weekends and holidays. Let's say 300? After all gaining a merit a day is something that should be easy.
It is sad how our forum is heading to. AI to replace humans and stats to judge them. Even in the working places, they know that stats aren't the best way to judge workers. They are relevant to judge the forum but we are turning it to the Ivory Tower slowly.

Many of you people would have been unnoticed if you did the right thing after some people have been sigbanned, but after you know that those that are getting the sigban are doing something that you are also doing, you did not stop doing it but you continued to do it. I said this because of your post history that I glanced through and when the sigban started.

Signban was too harsh in my opinion as well or there would have been some prior warning to improve/change.

In my case, I do not have anything personally to love mega topics to write with. I am here learn and to share my knowledge, I mean spamming was not intentional, but perhaps it was accidental by-product due to going by hobby and what was more interesting personally.

DarkStar_ barely shuffle participants in his campaign and he did it like once in several months. If he removed hugeblack, I believe it was not because of that post and information about using the campaign payment to pay university fee. The main reason would be the manager feeling like hugeblack was no longer fitted in his campaign, with either post quality or exposure of the brand in boards wanted by the manager.

They are all able to do that, if it is not dox attacks but sharing personal information is bad as it breaks privacy and anonymity.

The idea of spam can be very subjective.

But, I believe that the biggest problem is when we have a user who summarizes his activity to gambling topics.

It's one thing for this to be the only focus to be here on the forum.
It's another to be an extra of the forum.

The problem is that when there are abuses, it tends to be more rigorous, and this leads to even some becoming victims of the new standards.

Anyway, it seems the vast majority of those who suffered the ban, were really abusing the forum, which ends up harming the entire community.

A respectable opinion. I am simply posting what I think is relevant. I might be wrong, it might not be pleasant for some people who don't follow sports and bookies. I respect that. I am disappointed too from many things in the forums done by others members including renown legendary members but I preferred to not interfere. I prefer to stay neutral and avoid endless fights.

Let me add more on this:

In my case, I do not have anything personally to love mega topics to write with.

Mod's unpredictable actions against new gambling topics were one big problem which led me choosing and sticking within sports topics.

For example, today this topic Do you believe in the ugly side of multi million wins is moved to off-topic after 80+ posts.

When stake campaign demands 10 gambling posts weekly and some 4 to 5 years back where mods were aggressively deleting gambling topics or moving them to off-topic, sports topics seemed safe bet to write.


Another thing I noticed is,

Old Duelbit campaign got 10 gambling posts rule but when it was re-launched with 50 merits in last 120 days requirement, there is no requirement of gambling posts.

It may mean, high merit earners do not need to write on gambling board (and do not need to mess up with Mod's unpredictable actions on new gambling topics but can enjoy their stay within local/meta/reputation) while promoting a casino.

Both of you are actually correct in what you are saying as for me the longer this exchange stay in service and in this forum, the more I will trust them as for now I'm just using them and I'm being very careful using them because anything can happen at anytime, we have seen experiences of exchange and casino that have scammed a lot of people so I am being very careful using them however the longer they will stay the more comfortable I will be while using them, as for now I have not seen any reason to doubt them but I'm still being careful.

Check the merit cycle of these users and you will get a common denominator.

This is what I’m trying to say before if we heavily emphasize merit on the forum. Yes it will truly define quality poster user but farm account will aways included in the loop since some of those quality users will always be tempted to enhance their profitability.

Check Rainbet and Rollbit campaigns, most of the members are product of merit jerking that post mostly like this.

I already understood your post, what I don't understand is the reason why all of us were mentioned on this particular thread. Since you feel the 0ctrace thread is now becoming flooded with replies that merely repeat the obvious or excessively praising the  swap exchange to increase post count, why not simply comment on the thread instead? you didn't because you have another motive, but it's fine.

And if you feel we are shitposting on the 0ctrace exchange thread there is a tool where you can check post quality of users, why not simply check our post qualities before mentioning us here. I mean no offense but this is witch hunting and doesn't sit well with me and you did this because we are Nigerians.

I'm one of the guys who reports entire threads in the gambling section, and I feel so good when I see topics that have 50+ posts in 24 hours go down to zero in one month, just for the last month I think I "invalidated" about 500 posts.

Gambling should be about gambling, all the other garbage should be in off-topic.
We already have 1000+ topics on how gambling is bad, if you think so, then stop promoting casinos in the first place!
