If you keep money in the bank, the value of money decreases as time goes by. This is because of inflation. If someone does not invest and only deposits his money in the bank, then he may be able to save a lot of money in his country's fiat money, but as time goes by, the value of that money will continue to decrease. That is why it is very important to know and learn about proper investment. If you cannot use money properly and make proper investments, you will never be wealthy, no matter how much money you earn. Bro, even a high salary earner could become wealthy, and the world is full of them. Not everyone started their journey to become rich by starting a car or real estate business. Most of them were washing dishes or cleaning toilets. So the only thing that matters the most is your discipline. If you lack that, it does not matter what you are earning. You could never create wealth. So a high salary earner has to save consistently and focus more on not spending a lot on unnecessary items.

It is true that money loses its value with time, but we must keep some money for emergencies as well. Don't invest it all just to save it from inflation. Emergency funds or money for short term expenses should remain liquid even if they are going to lose value.

Investment will increase the process of creating wealth along with discipline. The difference must be clear to you now.

Money i know is among the assets that keeps deprecating if not invested in any profit generating investments be it big or small provided there is turnover on daily basis.

Yeah, this is most often topic that I used to discuss with my loved ones. I really understand the importance of this matter and know the cons are more than the pros of holding funds in banks. But the harsh reality is that people with weak mindsets fear investing funds; that is why they just hold their funds in banks and don't invest. And I agree with you here because investing can help a lot to fight against inflation rates, which is the major problem of all time. But on the other hand, holding funds in banks only has disadvantages, like the currency getting devalued over time, which is making us even poorer.

But at the same time, if we are holding assets like Bitcoin, gold, or any other asset, this can be a safe path to get strong financially in the future. I agree with both of your points. It's not a good indicator of wealth to have a lot of money in the bank because you can spend some of it. And inflation can cause the value to drop. Whereas what matters is whether this money is actually working for you and yielding returns. Additional income and long term growth can be created through investments, businesses, stocks. And bonds, mutual funds, or even Bitcoin. While it's still essential to have some cash in a savings account for emergencies. It's more important to have these funds invested to grow. So they can produce a larger return in the future. True wealth can be developed with productive assets that appreciate. And generate value over time.

I agree with your take @OP because saving in the bank will only pay the monthly cost without earning much interest but we can't leaves the bank and still keep some money there so we need to have investments to build our wealth.

Bitcoin is a good example for people to start having investments besides gold and don't forget diversifying assets will also help you to make money in the future for example having a land which you can sell when the price increases.

Another way but by through luck, winning the lottery. But I believe most of the lottery winners become broke eventually because they have no money management skills.

You are  going to think that doing business is easy until you start it that's when you will know that it's not easy, if it's that easy, everyone will start a business and probably stop doing 9-5 but because it's hard, unpredictable that's why only few people do it. We know salary can't make you a wealthy person, no person has ever work 9-5 and become rich but not everyone can do business, it will make sense if you use just "investment" as criteria for everyone.

There is nothing guarantee in life, even the investment you are talking about, there are people that are going to sit with you and say they will not make any investment again, not because they don't have the money but because they made bad move.
