I hope you don't ever feel surprised on the hypocrisy because all that plays around there is just politics and the US is enormously building the militarism structures by equipping its allies to acquire the aggressive military weapons as nuclear weapons.
The world had also been at peace because, lot of countries had acquired the terrifying nuclear weapon too in one legal way or the other to safeguard their nation from international insecurity threats.

However, I am also wondering why the US would not let the Iran acquire one as they agitates for and the reason while the reason behind the deal and while Saudi Arabia is ahead to acquire theirs is still unknown, else it should be a criticism of those that says it is because the Saudi Arabia is their (US) ally.

There are many countries in the world who are operating their nuclear power plant without producing any bombs because they are being monitor by the international safeguards but the concern that is being raised by expert is understandable. If a country has nuclear weapons than its neighbouring started feeling that they need them too and that will lead to an arm race. The Middle East is already facing tension and if more countries will be added with the capability to have their nuclear weapons that can also cause more unstability in the region. Once the US was very much concerned about Iran having nuclear power plant now it is signing deals with saudi. United States is not concerned about Iran having nuclear power plants, in fact  Iran is having nuclear power plants. The uranium enrichment for nuclear power plants is not up to the percentage that can be used to build nukes.

Uranium-235 enrichment up to 3 to 5% is enough to build a nuclear power plant, but nukes need more than 60% uranium-235 enrichment.

But the problem now is that some countries are concerned because they think Saudi Arabia having nuclear power plants may gradually be what will lead to the middle easy Asia nukes development and proliferation.

And as for me I do not trust the United States. That was the reason I said United States knew Israel was building nukes and it was secretly. Israel even talked against the Saudi Arabia nuclear power plant because they know what United States is capable of doing in secret and they are the example because United States helped Israel when Israel was secretly building a nuclear weapon.

As said earlier having a civilian nuclear power program is an entirely different thing than being able to enrich uranium much less enrich it enough to become a bomb. One does not lead to the other.

It is a very safe bet that Saudi Arabia will not have their own enrichment plants and would be purchasing their low grade fissile U232 fuel from the US or Japan, France, etc. All the deal covers is clearing them to build power plants which will no doubt be bought from US companies and allowing them to research reactor designs and operations. The expertise and equipment needed to create nuclear weapons is far different than what is needed for civilian nuclear power.

FYI: The US did NOT aid Israel in their nuclear programs - France did. Per a quick search on the matter,

France aided Israel's nuclear program in the 1950s and 1960s—culminating in the Dimona reactor—to secure a vital Middle Eastern ally and counter Arab nationalism, particularly that of Egypt's Gamal Abdel Nasser. Additionally, both nations felt alienated by Anglo-American nuclear policies and shared a determination to guarantee their own national survival.

This alliance was solidified for several specific reasons:
The Suez Crisis (1956): During the crisis, the Soviet Union threatened nuclear strikes against Britain, France, and Israel if they did not withdraw from Egypt. I don't think Saudi Arabia will truly  benefit from this agreement. The USA will have full control over these nuclear power plants. And that's why they want it to be built in Saudi Arabia. The USA has long wanted to strengthen its controlling in the Middle East. But they couldn't do it. I personally think they have targeted a few countries where they will establish a strong position, and Saudi Arabia might be one of them. Because in the war with Iran, many of their bases in the Middle East were destroyed. They suffered a lot of financial losses. Even some of their soldiers died. As a result, the USA might want to strengthen their position so that it will be easier to deal with any situation in the future. . But in this case, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's opinion is a little different. He thinks that if Saudi Arabia is allowed to enrich uranium, it could lead to a regional nuclear competition. He cannot see the nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia in a positive light without excluding them.

Is this coming as an intimidating propaganda against Iran since us has gone against its nuclear weapon enrichment site development, but Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries are still in allies with United States and they want to use this as the pressurize more on Iran in support of the Middle East and Saudi Arabia to be specific to develop nuclear power, things are happening in this world, if you cannot go against them then you have to fight them, but in this case I don't know if you're around has all it takes to fight against United States because it seems to be standing alone except with the help of Russia and China.

 If fighting Iranian government against building a nuclear weapon is the ambition and objectives of the US government and also tue west in general why are they not doing just the same against Saudi Arabia?! Well, it is to remind you it was just like this in the past when they had good relationship until tue Iranian government refused bowing down to their unnecessary terms after they toppled away their government and democratic leader.
