I can remember if your land that you acquired with your money is filled with Gold you are to surrender that land to the government, this is. The law of my country.

Gold lacks self custody and total control, they are not on same level, don't get me wrong, Gold is a good option but based on what this Mr Schiff is saying, Bitcoin beats Gold for me, hands down...

Gold can be considered as limited too because the gold source on this planet is limited. It's only with future advanced technologies and time, there will be more gold to be mined successfully and added into gold circulating supply.

The theory that some times in the future, human can get gold from asteroids in the space or on other planets is still too far to be doable. In my opinion, that assumption can be ignored in near future.

People can start with no knowledge about Bitcoin, and say bad words about it, but they all can learn about Bitcoin, get knowledge and change their stance on Bitcoin.

This is not new; Peter Schiff is one of the biggest Bitcoin critics, and many people have learned not to take his comments seriously. He has been known to even go on interviews and talk trash about Bitcoin. He spreads FOMO in the crypto space all the time so a statement coming from against Bitcoin? I'm not surprised.

This is not true, I have friends who have some pure gold coins or ornaments, they keep it for themselves. I know someone who is into gold mining and he still keeps some of it. Here in my country, there are black markets where you can exchange your gold for money. Some people have safe where they store their gold as well.

You are also not right. Price is not used to compare assets, marketcap is used to compare them. The asset with the highest market value in the word is gold and it is more than 10 times higher than bitcoin.

My problem is why a platform like coinmarketcap that's trusted by millions of people (mostly crypto traders) is sharing this FUD. Maybe they are just trying to farm engagement because this is definitely not a neutral reporting. It's misleading and promoting non existent claim. Assuming they actually did that, it can be from their team or from their community, it's not like a thing to be prohibited on Coinmarketcap, or on Facebook, X or this forum. Sharing news about that does not always mean spreading fuds, and people have different ways of sharing news, creating topics for example in Bitcoin forum too.

Like if you shared these news, posts, but add your insights like it's fud, explain why it's fud and enlighten people, it's all good things to do.

Crypto companies in crypto space are compromised, you asked why coinmarketcap is sharing the FUD? Why is Trust wallet sharing a cloud storage option as safer way to store recovery seed for beginners?

Someone created a topic about Robinhood doing the same thing that Trust wallet did, confusion everywhere, it's highly time that people need to start trusting their research more than trusting what people are saying.

Now, this is different. Assuming coinmarketcap also post to debunk the FUD like this site you mentioned, that's understandable. Coinmarketcap posts usually looks like endorsement and leave people to their fate. They make the posts and be like, OK do what you want with this information.

You can have Gold and keep it to yourself though, I am lost where you said Gold isn't self custody, it is actually, even if you found it on a land that belongs to someone else, the founder becomes the keeper.
