Since Bitcoin have limited supply, and gold is being mined as natural resources, shouldn’t that be enough reason to say that it is infinite?
I want to learn more because I also see gold as something unlimited because every here and there people mine gold even though government do take control of everything once they noticed that there is a gold to mine a particular place.
In terms of privacy, Bitcoin is more secure because gold seems to be centralized in my opinion since it usually involve a third party and it is something physical that will be challenging to keep safe, while Bitcoin is digital, you only need to keep your seed phrase safe. Therefore, Peter Schiff might say as he wish about Bitcoin if he prefer gold, because it has been an old treasure and an investment that also stores value.
