I guess if you can afford a coffee with these coffee shops you can afford a mobile data, these coffee shop most likely offered this kind of free wifi so the customer might stay longer into their shop and potentially get more orders but most of them limiting the number of stay like roughly 1-3 hours only to give way to other customer who would like to dine in. Now the catch here is if there is an attacker makes another wifi network which is the same like with the near coffee shop by this they can easily check whats the users activity with their network and what even their recent access but if you visit a not secured website or even the wifi makes you a task to install or re-direct and input into another website thats the time potentially they can steal information of yours and worst.. your assets.

That means on one hand, it will make us spend time in the coffee shop for a long time to get more orders, and on the other hand, it will trap us with free (WiFi) to steal data. We go to coffee shops to sit and spend some time talking with friends or to sit and talk with family for some time, but the surprising thing is that the whole time we spend talking is becoming risky for us.

Above all, it can be understood that if we ourselves are not a little careful from our own place then we will fall into danger at every moment. We have to stay aware and also refrain from using Public (WiFi).

Eight pages of horror stories about using shared WiFi. Has anyone thought that using something that is offered as a temporary use is just an addition to the services and convenience of an institution, but it is not necessarily designed to harm customers? Only the person agrees to the shared network, and only he sets up his device to use someone else's Wi-Fi. If we talk about the "auto-connect to any free network" setting, then here we can say that a person shoots himself in the foot.

However, horrors like hacks and other horror stories can be avoided by completely abandoning the use of anything "shared" and sticking exclusively to personal items. It's like sharing utensils when eating: don't eat from the same plate with the same spoon. Mobile internet is paid for with your own funds; you need traffic, and that's it ... You shouldn't be greedy when paying for your internet, and don't skimp on your own, because sometimes something "common" forces you to part with everything that is available.

If we keep on considering all this risk factors you mentioned, that means WiFi will not be used any longer...Do you know that not every one can have the time of hacking someone's WiFi, Home WiFi can be served...but public WiFi can be the one that will expose your informations if you're connected...actually people who owns a WiFi doesn't keep the password to be stagnant, some interchanges the password it, depending the days or weeks they like before changing the password....secondly, i wants us to know that connecting with unknown network Wi-Fi can only expose what you're doing with the network but you can't have access in some documents of the person, except that you turns on your file sharing, so that can enable a hacker to have access to your documents..

It depends from your location, from your friends living with you or your family or whoever visiting you. The WiFi password is easy shareable. As I said also, in some places, cracking password is an easy game for some people who try to thief anything. Apparently you weren't used with that.

Chatting with friends at coffee shops and when free WiFi is provided in various restaurants and hotels, it is risky for many. Especially those who use public WiFi from the bank's app or from various payment apps, many people are sitting there to steal data. If you can sit in a shop for hours using public WiFi, then of course it is risky, so we have to be very careful about this issue. Especially when paying online, we should not use public WiFi, but it is very good to use our own data. Public WiFi is always risky, so every user has to be careful, otherwise they can be a victim of fraud at any time.

This content has thrown more light to us and those who are careful enough would put an end in connecting public WiFi.There’s an adage that people usually say that even in Freetown nothing is free, that proverb always point out to me that I should be very careful of free things, they may appear free doesn’t mean there isn’t an error or a consequence attached to it that you may not know.To be on the safer side after ordering a coffee at the shop don’t spend too much time there because the more you stay the more you may be pushed to connect to their WiFi,it is better you stay away from what would cause total chaos to your financial health than allow it to ruin you completely.Lastly,if you’re interested in WiFi why not buy your own personal WiFi and avoid public ones.
