Many believes children are corrupted by what they see even when they have a solid upbringing, on my own opinion i think that is a complete lie. I never forget to place myself as a case study in some situations,  doing my younger age after receiving a very solid upbringing at  grassroot level from my parents,  then i was exposed to some life destructive activities but never allow those to define who I am.
One important reason why most naive children are mislead by there exposure is because of the foundation given to them while growing and will not stop until they decide to erase that old mentality and get themselves educated with useful informations.

On that ban from the use of social media i will say its a good move, many naive children without dominating knowledge can easily be misleaded because there are many life changing activities present of social media that can even change that of adults talk more of children whose brains are very light to be twisted.

I really support this kind of decision because children isn’t yet mature to know what is safe to share online and what can put them in danger. Social media can expose children to strangers, cyber bullying, fake news and many more.  Teaching children about bitcoin, crypto and online privacy is a good idea because technology has now become part of everyday life.

 But the focus shouldn’t only be how to use crypto, they also need to understand that personal information has value and why it’s not good to post everything about themselves or their family online. Social media is the digital version of real world society, so it will always have both positive and negative sides. So it's an overgeneralization to claim that social media does more harm than good, or that it has corrupted most children around the world.

Children are like blank sheet of paper, and most of them are not yet mature enough to judge what is right or wrong. That's why parent play such an important role. That's also why, when a child misbehaves, people often blame the parents more than the child.

Instead of completely stopping children it is better to direct them towards good and positive content keep a proper eye on their use and warn them about the harm of wrong things. For kids, social media has more cons then pros. The main draw back of social media for kids is wastage of time, kids these days are busy watching reels or preparing videos and pictures for uploading on social media. This is not the end, kids remain constantly online on social media to see what new content is uploaded and how many likes they got for the video they uploaded. Many kids have wasted their prime age on social media which was meant for study. Parents must supervise activities of their kids on social media to make sure their kids are not affected by negative effects of social media.

I wont stop speaking on the disadvantages of social media app monetization because children these days prefer to scroll on TIKTOK rather than using the educational materials share their. When I was growing up, one of my favorite TV channels was Discovery and documentaries. Learnt a lot about animals and the science of the world, but at present time, children prefer to watch other irrelevant things, including censored and adult content.

You just made a very valid point, it's not all about Bitcoin social media is doing a lot of harm than good especially to these children and once phone enters their hand the next place they go to is Tiktok to watch reels. If China as a country can regulate what their youths are watching, changing the algorithm to help the youths see something that will help them think fast and start having the creativity to build things that will improve their technology, other countries can do  the same thing and it's not by banning social media but making sure that what the children and young youths are watching will be of greater help for them in schools increasing their academic performances.

Our government have to do similar things to what China has been doing to help their population become productive instead of sleeping on social media for the whole days watching useless videos and listening to their favorite artists without thinking of how they can be productive and help solve problems in the society.

That issue of maturity plays a vital role in anything we do today, although this time around maturity is no longer measured in age but by behaviour of the person involved. I am looking at where the news relates this to bitcoin or crypto and it seams i can not find anything like that. banning young teenagers from accessing the media is something that is good because even young adult that are matured enough to think well and make better decision in terms of managing the things they consume on social media are still victims of the negativity on the media platforms.
