I'm honestly surprised that someone like you wants to sweep this under the rug as soon as possible, but you obviously have your reasons for doing so...
Believe me, if you had the sound of missile strikes sirens pounding your psyche day after day for almost 5 years (and some sirens can easily go on for 10-20 hours non-stop), you too would have developed a gag reflex to anything related to Russian trolls.

I was in a similar situation when you might not have even been born yet and I know very well what it means to look death in the eye every day for years. I do not perceive them only as trolls, but as those who for some reason (perhaps they are paid for it) try to influence public opinion and encourage others to believe in their sick propaganda.

However, this topic is not open because of what is happening publicly, but because of what is happening behind the scenes - one mod takes bribes to delete topics, another protects those who call for the extermination of people - but when I see that 99.99 people on this forum won't even blink an eye at all of that, I wonder why I even react to such things.

I wouldn't say he's defending anyone. I periodically check the Russian-language section, and I don't think I've ever seen him take sides (and I think the cases he didn't intervene in were because the rules weren't clearly interpreted). Now that we've received an affirmative answer, I think the pressure on the politics section will ease a bit, since such cases can be reported.
