Replies notification

Good afternoon, friends. Can anyone tell me how to understand that another forum member answered my post with his post? I've been looking for notifications for a long time, but I'm giving up.

You can either select notify on a topic to get an email for all replies or use one of the bots:

Those are your only options. Getting an email when your post is quoted is not possible.

I don't understand why anyone would not use the watchlist. You can configure the watchlist to be exactly the same as "show new replies to your posts" by configuring your posts to be auto-watched and adding your posted-in topics to your watchlist. After this is done, you can unwatch topics that you don't want to see.

I don't understand why anyone would not use the watchlist. You can configure the watchlist to be exactly the same as "show new replies to your posts" by configuring your posts to be auto-watched and adding your posted-in topics to your watchlist. After this is done, you can unwatch topics that you don't want to see.

The issue with the watchlist is that you only see there are new posts but you can not see if anyone talked directly to you

I use the TryNinja telegram bot because I do not need to spend hours reading all pages to look where someone quoted my post

Watch list is indeed a very important feature on this forum and I use it very often. I've some topics in my watch list and because of that I can see updates in those topics. If you want to be active at announcement threads then watch list becomes necessary. I also use Telegram notification bot, for mentions it works pretty well, but for topic updates I still use watch list.

If you want to be active at announcement threads then watch list becomes necessary. I also use Telegram notification bot, for mentions it works pretty well, but for topic updates I still use watch list.

For myself I see the watchlist as the place to know about new topics in the boards I follow. It is like a journal to see what is happening new in bitcointalk

And the telegram bot is to follow the conversations already happening or if you want to receive a notification about some subjects with the phrase track function
