I can't come up with an answer that makes sense. It is hard to raise an acc to senior member ever since the introduction of the merit system, even for a seasoned acc farmer I can imagine.
If someone defaults a $115 loan:
1- he is stupid
2- he is leaving the forum, not coming back, so doesn't care
Even these don't make completely sense. I mean someone can be stupid, but not that stupid... It is damn 115 bucks ffs.

My guess... they are leaving the forum forever, and they are "selling" the account for a $115 loan since directly account sales are heavily frowned upon by the community. It is also possible that the person behind the account that defaulted the loan could be having so many other accounts that he farmed and shading off a few for cash without much effort shouldn't be a problem
