Statistics have an expiration date, and this is the most important point. If I study the previous results of sports meetings between the two teams, then most likely the results of some incredibly old games will be absolutely useless to me. Because over time, the teams change, the coaches change, and so on.
And all this leads to the fact that the statistics become completely immutable for the future match . I know that bookmakers know this perfectly and are able to predict perfectly, but it is quite difficult for us, simple bettors, to take into account absolutely all the factors influencing matches in sports.

I agree, stats is definitely have a place in a sports/gambling world, but it can only tell a part of the game story. once the match starts, things like the players momentum, pressure, injuries and most importantly which is the individual performances can completely change the result...That said,relying only in our gut feelings can be just as risky as well. So for a good and balanced approach, using stats as a guide while recognizing the unpredictability of sports is usually the best way to do.

Focusing on statistic should be the easy strategy  to predict sportbet, but however sportbet is not that easy to win regardless of the strategy you apply. Apart from betting using stat, there is no more strategy to secure a good winning. Gambling and sportbet wining is just by luck, so I would not assure you that a strategy better than using stat is available. Of course everyone is free to bring up the strategy they know is better.

I don’t think that focusing on statistics should be the easy strategy to predict sport betting, sports betting isn’t just something you think that you can just study statistics and it would determine the outcome of the game, there is always going to be a game that would disappoint by merely looking at statistics, I have done statistics of sports games, reading some papers and some symbols, checking previous encounters, just to determine the statistics also on paper and internet, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me, I know there are individuals who it might have worked for, but I think it’s just merely by luck, however I like to use present forms of the teams and performances in recent games.

Perhaps, stats is not just what you should focus on if you want to make a more informed prediction. Like some persons already mentioned which I would like to tell you my own experience, don't only use stats but also check for new changes in the team you were going bet on, check for lineup, and injuries. If you are using just statics of previous match to just what the outcome of the next match would be, then you probably would lose more unless you are just lucky but using stats can also helpful when combined with those mentioned confluence. Injuries can make a player to be replaced and when that is done without your knowledge, you could still think that the team will be able to win because you only followed the stats, that can cause you to lose your bet. Very right, instincts do produce good results, though in can work in two ways, where one can benefit or it causes one pains. But, one thing is for sure, there is nothing true about gambling because the players are not being controlled to play, as they play the way they know how to, as they give us the best entertainment or result and depending always on stats or analysis can actually lead to loss and this might hurt ones emotions.

If we rely with the staitstics of the player and the team its just a heads up to you the potential of the team to have a higher chance to win in the match so its an edge but.. if you add this statistics with update before the match starts, actually there is an instances that there are key player in the game that will not play at the start of the match or even the whole game so you as an edge even there is a stats but you see that the good player will not play imagine you got a good odds plus you bet on the other side personally I do this most of the time in my parlay have an edge about the players like first 10 scores.

I only see statistics as a reliable way to analyze sports. I don't know how anyone could place sports bets without statistical analysis. For example, when there's a football match, news channels report on injured players. So we need to check the statistics of these injured players: if they scored in each of their last 5 games, how many assists they made, how many fouls they committed, and how many successful corners they took. This is to determine to what extent their absence will harm the team. Therefore, without statistics, you can't place a good sports bet.

Is there anyone that bets without checking stats, it's an important part of sports betting that would help a bettors decision making. For instance, football is not won by luck alone, the effort of a team matters so if a bettor doesn't check stats of different teams playing against each other how would the person know which team is stronger and has more potential of winning.

But you have to know when it's on the pitch and there is a red card, all the game can change completely.

I know creating of plenty tickets increases a gambler’s chances from winning but does it does not mean that you must win though and that’s why after all the the tickets and the risk being taken, you will still have to go and follow the statistics much closer, so I believe that the more reason why they are so interested in monitoring the statistical analysis of the game is not just because they want to follow the statistics for following sake but a bit more of that they do not want to lose the much money they have already staked on their multiple entries and will want to protect their tickets to the best of their ability, I don’t know how this truly sounds or happens but it looks like a lot of psychological work going down the line.

No, it is not. I believe anyone who is making comments on this thread will make it with their own experience and not from a generic mindset. In the previous Premier League Season, I normally used the stat to analyze the teams with their matches and it was working for me. But before using the stat, you have to also know the current state of the teams so you will not make mistake because a team that was beaten by A team might do well to beat the B team in the current match so analysing teams from all sides is the best and don't focus only on one side to analyze and bet. You have to check the past and present of the teams before betting.
