The point here is that the more you analyze, the more confused you will be, but not for all matches, but for some matches. You will notice one thing, when you do not place any bet and make a prediction for only one match, you will see that your maximum prediction will match. But when you put money on the line and do a lot of analysis, you will get confused and at that time your chances of making a wrong decision will increase. Actually, when it comes to financial loss, our psychology is a simple thing, some people think in a complicated way. I have noticed this kind of thing in myself. So I believe that the more you use strategies, the more your chances of losing will increase.

This depend on the scenario, let's use Barcelona and Real Madrid for example, throughout last season the El clasico between these teams didn't favor Real Madrid, not once or twice or thrice, they loss to Barcelona. That's already a stat. If I'm to bet between them this season, I will still go with Barcelona to win because over the last season till now, nothing has change about the team, Mourinho will use the same players Arbeloa used last season.

You can see that the kind of team you use as head to head matters in the kind of stat you want to use. You can't use Manchester United of last season that was managed by Amorim to want to win the Premier League but I believe Carrick will make changes to the team. I think the main thing we should focus on when gambling is knowing when to stop and call it a day, because luck has the final say. Gamblers shouldn't rely heavily on gambling, because nothing can guarantee you winnings in gambling. I don't actually believe that when betting on sports, following more stats about the teams in a match and the players on those teams increases the chance of losing that bet.

Here, I can at least say that following more stats doesn't guarantee victory, but also at least the chances of losing don't increase. Because when we know the details about the teams, our chances of winning will increase. Especially, many times, it is not possible to say how a strong team will perform in the next match just by looking at its previous performance because many times it is seen that potential players are not in the team, whether due to injury or for any other reason, it is seen that the performance of that team is not good and it is defeated. I don't completely agree. In my opinion, the problem is not the stats, the problem is that most people don't know how to use stats.
yeah, everyone can see the same data, but not everyone reaches the same conclusions.
A professional bettor doesn't look at raw stats, he also tries to understand why the market is giving those odds, right?
So betting only by looking at possession, H2H or last 5 matches will not make you profit in the long run.
