Since it’s just ceremonial events that would take place in South America, I think FIFA should just make the opening matches be between teams that are in the continent or closer to the continent to solve the travel issues that might arise with hosting the World Cup in three continents.

I think Infantino might have just did what would probably cause his downfall by trying to sell FIFA shares to private investors, because UEFA are not backing down even after the deal has collapsed, they told him to step down and resign as FIFA president or they would “trigger a Vote of no confidence”  if he refuses.
