I truly think if you expose children to Bitcoin with proper education not just showing them the possibility of making money or growing assets, beyond all these if you expose them to Bitcoin and you prioritise the knowledge first, so long as those children have the self interest to invest in Bitcoin, I'm pretty sure they would do well.  Aside just trying to grow assets, there are alot of things you can do and also have access to because of Bitcoin and if you truly understand it, you would know how to tap into the opportunities that exist inside. Long story short, expose your kids to Bitcoin but educate first.

You have a good point but, it not advisable to introduce bitcoin to a child at a young age, I think that will give them too much free, when a child is having his own money they become hard to raise, and you will find it very difficult to correct, guide, and advise. Too much of everything is bad including freedom, I'm not saying that parents should be strict towards their children, but they should be limit for everything. There is nothing wrong with introducing bitcoin to your children, but the best thing is to wait for the right time. You have to allow them to grow gradually and enjoy their childhood before placing any responsibility under their care.
When children are mature enough to understand, they should be taught about Bitcoin because if we want to teach them about Bitcoin, they will not be able to understand it easily. You are right that before giving any responsibility to children, they should be allowed to grow up gradually and you should let them enjoy their childhood.

As far as I know, learning about the complex technologies behind Bitcoin or crypto currency such as blockchain, cryptography or mining, decentralization is complicated, so how easy it will be depends on the age and mindset of a child. However it is easy to explain Bitcoin and its transactions to minors today because they are growing up with digital games, and the internet.

The question that I would like to ask is , is there actually any disadvantages when you teach or expose your children early to Bitcoin education. There is no time that is actually right or even too late for anyone to learn about Bitcoin, and been that these are children I feel that the right time for children to start learning about anything of value is when they are in their formative years. At this stage these children learn fast and and easily grab the concept of Bitcoin and how it works this will even make them to have more chances about adopting Bitcoin when eventually they grow up, going into the future. Some of these developed countries such as China, America and even Europe they expose their children early to technology right from when they are small, and it has a psychological impact that it have on the child.

There's actually time that's right for learning some things. Here, talking about Bitcoin investment is the same as talking about money investment. Ordinarily, children learn about money casually and this casual lessons about money actually has nothing to do with investment of money even as some begins thinking business as kids. As for Bitcoin, it's difficult for children to casually hear and learn about Bitcoin all the time like fiat. So to intentionally expose children or teach children about Bitcoin, then it must be at some certain stage and that should be to their level of mental ability, that's just laying a foundation. Age thirteen is a good idea for this intentional lesson on Bitcoin investment to avoid unnecessary psychological problems that may arise.

No be say I dey try bring up my family matter here but I want una to chook mouth for the matter, na bad thing to teach children about Bitcoin, or una feel say eh go make dem overwise like my uncle talk, I wan hear una opinion.
Do not only teach them about bitcoin but also help them invest some amount of money in bitcoin so that they will understand what store of value is as the money will increase over time. Also let them know about other assets like gold, silver, real estate, land and let them know the scam that can happen and how to avoid them all.
If you are teaching them about Bitcoin from the way they will be responding you will get the motivation to help them to invest if they are interested since they are your children. Kids love to play if they are not up to the age where they should understand about assets you would struggle to hold them down before they will take your teachings seriously but if you know that they developed interest to learn then you should start investing for them you can do it till they grow up but you have to be sure they do not get access to the wallet if they are still little so they do not disclose it to their friends who will likely gain access to their wallet so you need to be careful when you help them to invest so they do not expose you and whet you are doing for them.

I agree with you. Children can learn about bitcoin when they have reach to the age that they can be able to understand it. We ain’t suppose to rush and give them much responsibility. Allow them to enjoy their childhood and you can  gradually teach them the basic things about money, how bitcoin works and the important of saving.

Even if blockchain and mining can be difficult for children to really understand, explaining bitcoin to as a digital money may work easier, because most children has now become use to the games, through the help of phone and internet.
