I think the OP has patience and consistency. Because not everyone can stop playing after winning. But you are being overly definitive when you say that if he keeps playing, he will eventually lose everything. If he keeps playing, he probably will lose more. If I interpreted OP properly, I would conclude he didn't win much from the sports betting, he can correct me if I'm wrong. He went on to try his hands on the slots to increase his bankroll and increased it to 10X before going ahead to withdraw. I believe he withdrew when he had a tangible profit which is how I like it. I only withdraw when the profit is tangible and not at any chance, if I end with 2X my bankroll, I usually leave it there for the next session since I operate on a limited budget. I love withdrawing from 5X my initial deposit and that makes more sense to me and feels like I made some actual profit.

This is where you go it wrong, the fact that you are able i mean lucky to increase your win when you would have stopped doesn't mean it will work that way all the time and that doesn't make you the smartest or wisest because your instincts told you to continue and you did, that was your luck and what if you made loss after your instincts told you to continue and you did? I think that if you win a match or your bet while gambling, and if the amount you won seems satisfactory to you, then cash out right away. And if you think, "No, I can go even further," then you can continue. But one thing must be kept in mind - never go beyond your limit.
