Interest in Bitcoin is dropping like a stone. This month will have the lowest trading volume in nearly 3 years. If I haven’t been saying this was what was going to happen for more than a year now, I would be concerned. Instead, I’m putting together accumulation plans for when Bitcoin ultimately takes another leg down in the next couple months.

On the one hand that is true, but on the other hand the number of bitcoin sitting on an exchange or being sent to exchanges is still historically low. Volume has been dying down for a while, but less bitcoins being moved should suggest the number of long-term holders is increasing? CDD has been on a constant decline since December last year. It's not looking great at all, but there are a few positive signs as well.

In my opinion why bitcoin not moving yet since last 10 months because current global political condition make difficult for bitcoin break out, we know conflict between United State and Iran still not over yet how many time both of them negotiate still can't reach peace of negotiation.

The price of Bitcoin has been moving but it is just that it has not gone according to the prediction of others that thought the price would have increased more than it is currently trading, bitcoin price is following its own cycle as we are currently in the bear cycle hence it will be difficult for Bitcoin to continue increasing why we are in a bear cycle. Now that bitcoin price is trending downwards, it is important for we to start buying Bitcoin now because when the price starts to go up it might have become late for you to buy Bitcoin since the price will be too high that you will be unable to afford.

Many others has also said different things concerning the price of bitcoin what it will be in the future but the truth is that no one can get it right how the price will be, people only speculate not that they are sure they aren't because no body can tell the future. Bitcoin has actually been a dip in the past months and even now but still as an unstable coin it is we can't still tell how it will be in time coming if it will skyrocket or still drop more in price but the goal is to buying and continue to hold as BTC always rewards long time holders.

You’re right, Bitcoin price is changing gradually, but it’s not like the way others think it will be now. And that is why it’s always good to make research and try to invest what you can afford to risk when investing, because we can’t predict how the price will always be, but we can give our own perspective on how we think it will be in the next week, months, or probably a year.

OP, I think you’re not checking the market frequently, that is why you think the price is not moving. Bitcoin doesn’t always stay in one direction because it’s volatile and makes it difficult for anyone to predict it. Buy now and wait for your time, and you will be profitable when you’re always patient in the long term without rushing to sell.

Well I can tell you for free that no one is certain about what will happen next, many people could speculate that Bitcoin will hit $150k but forgetting that the market is unpredictable since it is control by demand and supply, it totally decentralized and a decentralized currency can not be predicted accurately. So we just have to invest and watch where its volatility lands. Well checking from the previous years Bitcoin movement hasn't be this slow, but since we are in bear season we will just take it like This till we completely enter bull run. Maybe this season is different from the other season. Who knows if its actually stepping back to strike, hopefully the strikes this time around will  be a good one.

So you are invariably saying that we have not hit the bottom of this bear season yet? If your answer is a yes, I will not disagree with you because Bitcoin seems to have strong willingness to go lower as it has refused to convincingly break the resistance around $72k. I just don't know how low it will go but surely we can see huge interesting liquidity to the downside which ought to be raided before any significant rise in price.

The increase in the price of Bitcoin depends entirely on human demand, the more Bitcoins ordinary people and investors buy and hold for a long time, the price of Bitcoin will gradually increase.

Bitcoin is completely decentralized, so it is not possible for anyone to say for sure when and how much its price may increase, researchers make approximate predictions based on various data bases, sometimes their ideas or assumptions are correct, this is the main truth due to the rapid fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin, the researchers' estimates are not always correct.

Most predictions are not perfect. Many expected the price of Bitcoin to increase to $150k -$180k within this year. That was possible, but due to global instability, the capital markets in the world were greatly affected, so the target set for the price of Bitcoin was not realized. Due to the global recession, inflation increased and investors suffered financially. This recession trend is still ongoing because the long-standing dispute between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for a long time and one of the world's major maritime cargo routes is not being able to operate normally, causing production to be disrupted and people to lose jobs.

I do not believe that the price of Bitcoin is going to take a few steps back because the market is in a bullish trend and investors are still holding Bitcoin because the market will recover in the future.

It is very good and clear you said " people predict, speculate and anticipated" and it didn't happen that was because these people are not certain and they don't influence Bitcoin it is just a mere speculation you too can speculate or predict. The fact they said it is going to cross $150k doesn't mean it must happen and this kind of information can literally make some newbie who doesn't understand Bitcoin to use what they can not afford to lose to invest in Bitcoin and when they see  this long consolidation they will began to panic. Lastly, what's happening isn't new so we should be calm and be increasing our portfolio

"Third longest consolidation", lol. Also known as "everything is proceeding more or less as expected."

Yeah, people (both regular and analysts) make predictions and they are constantly making wrong predictions when it comes to bitcoin. I am not sure why them failing to predict bitcoin ath or atl would be newsworthy or a concern. You won't find "reasons" for moves in the past being more accurate then speculations about the future.

All we have is a chart that that has so far been more or less self-fulfilling the 4 year cycle theory. It couldn't however predict if it goes down before it going back up again. I would wait, at the end of the year based on past charts, but if it's not breaking ATH next time, then whole scene is starting to look different.
