It is too quick to think AI will replace live dealers. AI still has a lot to learn and study from humans because, for now, the interaction isn't there yet. What makes live dealers more interesting is the fun and interaction based on real-life events with the customer. AI is programmed to react and respond in a way that sounds scripted.

The role of AI in a casino should be more focused on assisting the casino. It already exists via casino support. It shouldn't go beyond that for now until AI has been proven to be more human than a programme.

I will always choose a human dealer over the improved AI. Human dealers might be tricky, as that’s what they are trained for, but I still prefer them over AI; no matter how well they get improved, it’s just code to me, plus the interaction section where you can have real conversations with humans and fellow players. This is simply another twist. As always, there will be those who prefer the experience of a live casino with a live person, and some will appreciate the "anonymity" of AI agents. This is certainly a great solution for casinos, as it will significantly reduce the costs of maintaining casino operations and hiring staff. I don't think it is about replacing human dealers, but rather offer something which cannot be done by human dealers.
There is something I have noticed from AI and it is the fact there are so many people who use it to "revive" dead people to do wacky stuff: Hitler, Charlie Kirk, Michael Jackson, among others.

I think what it is going to happen is we will see several casinos that will start to use AI to have anime girls, deceased famous people, and other frictional characters to deal on casino games.

That is something which cannot be done easily with human beings.

You say you will always prefer to have human dealers, that is fair. But I think you should have open to the possibilty you end up hooked to blackjack dealers which are very different because they would happen to be fantasy characters.

AI dealers? Stop giving these companies stupid ideas. The only reason people play live games is because they want a real person experience, otherwise they can just play the thousand other games that have automated algorithms to replicate a real world casino game. They also want to know that the outcome of their bets is based on the real world drop of a ball, for example, so they get a different experience to a random number generator. It's sad you think that AI is any kind of replacement for a real person in this scenario, like these people who are pretending to have girlfriends or make a best friend by relaying their life into a chat algorithm - it's not the same thing to anyone with a sane mind. Not sure what else can be "personalized" because every live dealer I've seen will quite happily interact with players chatting.
