There are a lot of casino scam happening this days, one way to avoid getting scammed is by knowing the strategies this scammers are using on people, when you know their strategy you can easily avoid getting scammed.
This thread is created so we can all post some Casino scam you believe people should be aware of.
I will post some.

1. Recovery Scams: After someone loses huge amount of money to a fake casino, another scammer claims they can recover the funds for a fee. They simply take more money and disappear.
2. Clone Casino Websites: some casino websites you see around are clone casino websites and they are done by scammers just to scam gamblers, this scammers copy the design of well-known casinos to steal deposits and personal information.
3. Withdrawal Verification Scam: In all this fake casinos after you win huge amount of money, they will asks you to pay a verification fee, tax, or unlock fee before releasing your winnings. Don’t pay any more money because they are fake casinos if you pay they will ask you to pay again just like that till they exhaust all your money and disappear.
This are more general type of scams and probably most we do encounter in our lifetimes when we're in the internet and not just in online casinos. Some casino specific scams are purely internal like freezing an account, delays on communication or withdrawals (even deposit), claiming you're doing a suspicious activity on their site without a clear context then just halt activity on your account. There are a lot more on this but mostly these are the casino-specific scams happening these days.

Do you have any specific experience over this scams OP? I think that's more worth noting and some casinos are hideous these days too especially if they want to scam their users in the first place. They'll represent as legitimate until users trust them and all of sudden they'll run. To be honest, it's not easy to detect but I'd rather play with brands that already proven their worth in this industry rather than chasing new or an unknown one.

1. Recovery Scams: After someone loses huge amount of money to a fake casino, another scammer claims they can recover the funds for a fee. They simply take more money and disappear.
If you're using crypto, there should be zero reason for you to believe they can recover it since crypto transactions are irreversible. We all should know that.

2. Clone Casino Websites: some casino websites you see around are clone casino websites and they are done by scammers just to scam gamblers, this scammers copy the design of well-known casinos to steal deposits and personal information.
So, this is like a phishing website? I think this is the most effective way to scam people. Especially those who are less tech-savvy. But I believe the majority of the legit websites always have reminders about phishing scams. Some people may still fall for it, but definitely not much for the people in the crypto space, since we're all more conscious of cybersecurity.

This is classic, lol! Happens not only on fake gambling websites, but also with fake airdrops, online micro jobs, and anything that involves deposits and withdrawals.

I think these 3 are the most common ways to scam people, not only in relation to gambling, but everywhere else in the internet, and I guess everyone around here is already aware of it. Though it's a good habit to remind everyone not to become too complacent.

Along with these scams, I would also like to mention another scam called the account renting scam. Basically, the scammer looks for people with higher betting limits. He will tell you that he has access to fixed matches and can help you win millions. He may even claim that he will provide information about these fixed matches for free, but in return he wants a percentage of your winnings.

It sounds very convincing and promising, right?

This is where the scam actually begins. The scammer will ask you to deposit money and place the bets yourself. Since he claims the matches are fixed, you will feel confident enough to risk your own money. He may also assure you that if by any chance the bet loses, he will give you money for your loss.

However, once you lose the bet, he simply blocks you and disappears. In reality, the scammer has no access to fixed matches. He only wants someone else to place bets based on his own predictions. You take all the financial risk, while the scammer profits if he is right and faces no consequences or loss if he is wrong.

There are some casinos from which every user has to register there carefully and deposit their money. Basically, nowadays many scam casinos are created from which people try to cheat in various ways when people deposit large amounts of money on those sites, they take the website down and leave. Before gambling in a casino and while depositing money, their websites should be analyzed well and how active their social media is should also be noted. Moreover, how active their support is should also be noted. Check each step and then deposit and withdraw, and if they promise to do so, then it is better not to deposit money there. I think that it is better to deposit a small amount of money in every casino first and then withdraw from there and after betting, get an idea of how trustworthy the casino is, if it is good, then there is a confidence to deposit there for a long time, otherwise it is best to get out of there.

The scams you mentioned do happen, but many casinos also scam with bonuses, such as by promising signup or deposit bonuses, but in reality they only entice gamblers to bet more. I have seen casinos that promised to give signup bonuses but didn't.

Casinos that want to survive on the online casino platform in the long run don't cheat gamblers, but those that are short-term and have a cheating mentality end up taking gamblers' money and disappearing.

Don't believes someone who claims they can recover the funds especially if many people can't do that because that is just an attraction for people to recover the funds.

You must research before you register and send the money so you can avoids scamming casino and that is the right things to do before you select the casino.

Withdrawal verification scam is the thing commonly happens in scam casinos. They can asking us to pay money to releasing your winnings but they will not really send the money. If you don't want to get scams from them, you can stay away from gambling sites and not involves in gambling.

I believe most of the people will be falling for this scamming method most, and it is mostly well known as the phishing scams which even the banks websites are also being cloned by scammers for tricking clueless victims to login into these phishing websites which would allows the scammers to steal important login information from the victims.

It would always be better for people to check the casino website URL before they input their login details and password to access their account, as once the scammers got hold of an victims account and transfer their money out of the account, it is usually impossible for the victim to recover back their funds.

Every gambler, that has been gambling for the last few years knows about those scams. They aren't strictly related to the crypto gambling industry. There are phishing pages of crypto exchange platforms and there are recovery scams, that have nothing to do with crypto casinos. Most people are aware of these scams, but some phishing pages are just so good, that the person can't distinguish them from the legit website. Also, there's a small possibility for every gambler to be scammed by a legit and licensed crypto casino. The dumbest scams are the ones, where the fake casino requires you to pay a fee in order to withdrawal your fake "crypto profits". This is beyond stupid, but some teenagers in Discord are still falling for such scams.
