There's been so much talk about the clarity Act being passed in some days time before the U.S Congress goes on break. If the current timeline intended for this Act to be passed on the Senate floor does not happen, it might be until next year presumably before it happens. My question is, if the Clarity Act gets passed eventually, is it possible that it could cause a price surge of which may lead to a hyper bullish market for Bitcoin?

I don't think it'll stop the bear market from continuing for something but it'll be used as a reason for the upturn when it does happen.
There won't be retail confidence until bitcoin stabilises and stops falling and it will have to have done that for a while.

I don't think we can predict this, but I believe if the clarity act is passed it won't immediately ignite enough reaction to cause a surge in Bitcoin so in my own opinion it would not cause enough hype to create a bullish situation. Although I may be wrong but let's not forget there can be two reactions, positive and negative, there are already some bodies and groups that are angry with the idea the clarity act stands for and it hasn't yet been passed, also with the whole sentiments surrounding Donald Trump's reign as president all this can contribute to maybe a negative reaction some people can go as far as creating a negative propaganda filled with lies against the clarity act. Let's just hold our horses for now and see how it's goes.

Obviously, that's exactly we've been waiting for, to finally witness bitcoin turns into a legal digital commodity. However, I don't think it will create an immediate effect for bitcoin since there will always be a conflict of interest most especially for public officials who have different views about decentralized asset like bitcoin which could delay the approval of this act if ever. But as part of the bitcoin community, all we can do is to expect positivity from everything. Bitcoin's original version is to act as a currency, hopefully this time it will lead to its original path and eventually create a hyper bullish market for bitcoin.

Well, the passage of the Clarity Act certainly has the potential to have a positive impact on the market, as it can reduce long standing regulatory uncertainty to some extent. However I do not think that Bitcoin will immediately become hyper bullish if this one law is passed. Another thing is that this bill is still in political discussions and has not secured enough support to pass in the Senate, so it can be called a positive signal, but I would not call it the only bullish reason.

It might or might not be. But if you're expecting its impact to happen right away, that's unlikely. This bear market respects no news and we have to wait until the end on how it's going to react with that act. For long term, we might see it then but we don't know when it'll lead to that.

I don't want to exaggerate things, but when that happens, bitcoin price will definitely create a significant surge, but not to the extent of seeing a hyper bullish market. The crypto market remains highly volatile, and bearish market will still exist even if this Clarity Act will be finally approved. I feel like it will only create a temporary price surge and eventually get back to being volatile and unpredictable price.
Currently, this Clarity Act is still facing bipartisan hurdles and would require 60 votes from the Senate before it will be pass and once approved, it becomes a law. Now the question is, are majority of US Senators in favor for this act? This remains a significant challenge for bitcoin and the rest of digital assets, as Democrats are highly skeptical about this and remain in the opposition team while the Republicans have already agreed on it.

If Congress were able to pass this bill, it would have a positive impact on Bitcoin's price, as it would provide certainty for the crypto industry in the US. However, I don't think it would be significant enough to trigger a hyperbullish Bitcoin trend, that's unlikely. It would most likely only cause a short-term price surge, fueled by positive market sentiment. After that, the market would likely decline again as the market returns to its normal cycle.

And even if it does, it will not create a rush effect like making the market hyper bullish. Regardless if there are positive news or not, the market is often volatile, so at one point, it will be bullish, the next day it might be bearish again. For now, Clarity Act is still in the process, I'm positive about it, but I'm not expecting too much about it especially that the Senate has ongoing debates about ethics rules.

Bullish or bearish the market will respond but how it will go? Nobody knows, but however if the clarity act is passed into bill then what happens is that the market will respond towards it to an extent but will not cut short the bear market season which we are facing already. There is nothing like hyper but a little reaction to the market will occur.

In my view biggest impact of CLARITY Act will be in long term. If it increases institutional confidence while also facilitating entry for company and traditional finance players then demand for Bitcoin will gradually increase it is almost confirmed. However it does not seem that this one law alone will immediately take the price into hyper bullish market. If everyone has already bought BTC in anticipation of this news then short term profit taking may also occur after approval. Many could take advantage of "buy the rumor, sell the news"

Many could take advantage of "buy the rumor, sell the news" Its not that this single law will create an instant massive effect to the crypto market. In order to witness a hyper bullish one, there should be a huge, continuous demand for bitcoin, meaning there should be a heavy capital that will be invested into digital assets particularly bitcoin. If we are not seeing it yet, then we cannot expect for the crypto market to create a hyper bullish scenario. And the worst is, there's even no guarantee yet if Clarity Act will be approved, but here we are talking so much in advance.

I think Bitcoin's price is going to go up at the moment of the news if the Clarity Act gets approved. But I believe this year will be bearish, then it's going to fall again respecting its cycle. This law approved could in the future make Bitcoin go up a lot because with the regulation, big funds and banks and companies are going to have more security to invest.

My question is, if the Clarity Act gets passed eventually, is it possible that it could cause a price surge of which may lead to a hyper bullish market for Bitcoin?
There will be effects like effects from Bitcoin Futures ETFs (CBOE, CME) in late 2017 and early 2018, like Bitcoin Spot ETFs in 2023 and 2024, but Bitcoin market works with its four-year cycle while altcoins and cryptocurrency market depend on Bitcoin market. The Clarity Act is truly massive and important for blockchain industry and cryptocurrency market towards the future but it won't change the market cycle.
It will lay foundations legally for this industry so that companies, people engage in this industry can know more clearly about what they are allowed legally to do and what they must avoid to commit crimes. It will bring more people to this industry when it goes to mainstream but I believe that it won't suddenly end the bear market and start a new market cycle and a bull run. It's unrealistic hope but people have different thinking and vision about the market, so if anyone hope so, just let them be.

Althought Clarity Act might bring some benefit, but honestly I don't really think it will influence the price of Bitcoin.
My reasoning is because the act itself isn't really bitcoin focused but regulation around it:
1. Asset classification (Bitcoin stance is clear as commodity by CFTC) 2. Registration of exchanges, AML, Customer protections (all major exchange have these already) 3. Token offering exemtpion (only shitcoin needs this) 4. Yield rules (only banks and centralized exchange fight for this because it involves their market share)
there are other points I can talk about but that'd be too long. Even if it moves the market, it won't be significant but take it with grain of salt, just my opinion. Maybe market will be bullish purely from hype.

Maybe should just be a little patient and wait for the voting results, if they're expected to happen in the next few days? Bitcoiners should be patient. I don't know what exactly will happen or how, but I can assume (expect) that even if the clarity Act is bitcoin passed, it won't trigger an immediate bullrun. I can imagine that it will trigger a short-term surge in buying activity, which will increase the price of bitcoin by a few thousand (perhaps ten or a little more). I certainly don't expect to see a full-blown bull run so soon. The market can't reverse in the middle of a bearish trend. By the way, a question for traders: would you risk buying bitcoin now in the hopes of a short-term price increase if the clarity Act's passage triggers a market thaw?

Hyper bullish market is being hyperbolic, but historically Clarity act have positive influence, one of them is when Secretary Bessent was saying it's almost finished and BTC rallied around 2-3%. If the bill passed 10% gain is realistic, except if the market has actually priced in the bill being passed which in turn become a sell off event.

But I think that many in the community still have no idea of what it is and just looking at it as something meaningful and hopeful that will make the prices high. Just like you, I am expecting not a lot from it as well. If it gets an approved the, that's good. Yet, if it doesn't then that's okay and there's no need to be disappointment about it. The matter of point is whether it gets an approval or not, it's still the same just as what the situation is right now.

The problem now is that the CLARITY Act bill is still facing uncertainty in parliament and has not received the necessary support for the bill to be passed promptly. It has yet to secure the required 60 votes for a full Senate floor vote --- until the vote for this bill is complete, there is no need to hope that the bill can pass in parliament. So I think it's better to see the development of this bill. However, I don't think this bill will cause hyperbullish sentiment in the market, as it's just a crypto bill. While it could be positive news, its impact on the market is likely to be limited.
