Evan.com was reportedly sold for $400,000 on July 22.

Would a first-name .com have real value in this space, or is it too traditional for crypto buyers?

A really good first name .COM can go for quite a bit. I don't see why you couldn't use one for a crypto founders website, but you'll be competing with a lot of other non-crypto people to buy the name most likely.
