Are first-name .COMs useful for founder-led crypto brands?

Crypto projects often use abstract brand names, but founder-led products and personal brands are also common.

Would a first-name .com have real value in this space, or is it too traditional for crypto buyers?

A really good first name .COM can go for quite a bit. I don't see why you couldn't use one for a crypto founders website, but you'll be competing with a lot of other non-crypto people to buy the name most likely. As someone who's done a lot of domain investing over the years, I can say you'd have a tough time finding a good/common first name .COM that are still available to register...

It's actually not. Evan name is much more worth than .com. You can't find any domains 5-6 six letters today with general usage. Every one of them is taken and selling a domain with 4 letters and business. If it's a common name you can sell it for a a lot. Lot than a 400 grand.

and i think using .com .net .org is just a way to show what your site or project up to. It can't be about that beacuse com is use for commercials. Some people can buy .com for there own blogs or non-commercial sites yeah. In my knowledge, this happens beacuse .com had spreaded around world more fast and people just stick with to it so you can't find simple names in that domain beacuse of that. Yeah it is gonna be more valuable if you have a com, but the name needs to be have less characters in it. Or you can just create a long name and try to sell it to. But like, no one want's a create a long name company. Customers are not gonna remember a long name. It's need to be short etc.
