🔑 What is SatoshiPool?

SatoshiPool is a transparent GPU mining pool designed specifically for two things:

1. Bitcoin Puzzle #71 – The famous 7.10 BTC puzzle with the key hidden in the 70–71 bit range.
2. Forgotten Satoshi-Era Wallets (253-256 bits) – Old mining wallets from 2009–2013 using uncompressed public keys.

We use random chunks, not sequential scanning. Every key you scan is a ticket in the lottery – you could find the key in your very first chunk. No waiting 3000 years.

💰 Reward Split (Transparent & Fair)

When a key is found, the reward is split as follows:

40% – Finder Bonus (the miner who found the key)
55% – All Miners (split proportionally by contribution – including the finder)
5% – Operator (server maintenance and development)

No hidden fees. No surprises. Everyone knows exactly what they get.

🛡️ Security – Split-Key System

The private key is split into two halves. Your GPU finds half, the server holds the other. Neither side alone can access the Bitcoin.

No miner can steal the prize – you only have half the key
No hacker can steal the prize – breaking in only reveals the other half
No single person controls it all – two-key system by design

Found keys are encrypted the same way Bitcoin Core protects wallet.dat files. The encryption password is stored on a physical pendrive, disconnected from the server.

1. Register – Go to https://puzzle.satoshipool.org/ and register. No email required. Just a nickname, Bitcoin address, and password.
