This is great, as we all should teach kids about bitcoins, the future belongs to them and is best we teach them so they can evolve in the crypto erra

It's good idea, but now hope that she won't find and be interested in fact that also silkroad uses bitcoin as their currency.

Everything is worth learning if taught in a non-dogmatic way. And learning, when still a child, about the value of money and how to manage it surely has a positive impact on one's indepence as an adult. |

I tried telling my 6 year old about Bitcoins... but the moment he realized "mining" had nothing to do with Minecraft, I think I lost his interest  Just sent a small tip. |

 My second grader daughter Phaedra is learning about money at school and she got interested in that small black box that on daddy's table when I told her that it prints out wallets that can hold a new form of money: Bitcoin. As a fellow beekeeper I'd say the bees are more dangerous than the bitcoins.
You are a good parent. It shows in your child's interest in engaging with you on these things.
