When I first heard the rumour I didn't believe it and thought it was a joke, but it looks like this is true.
Trump's own social media platform, called "Truth", is considering offering early access to POTUS' posts for a "small" fee of only $100k a month. The offer is aimed at traders and investment firms, who could use this as a sort of insider trading tool, which will give them the advantage of knowing sensitive information before it's released to the wider public.
Trump and his son have been previously accused of using insider information for their own benefit, but now they are taking it to a different level.

Honestly if I say I am actually surprised then I am seriously lying to myself. Trump since returning to office has actually set himself in a position that makes me understand that once trump is into something it’s for financial gain. When I argued that for person to actually come out and say they support cryptocurrency wants it’s legalized was on his first day promoted a meme coin in its name and then proceed to actually lure people into something he had kicked against in his first place and this is not also the end of it, he went ahead to also promote a similar meme token in his wife’s name with reports that he had a fat share in the airdropped token.

Not surprise seeing them trying to sell out news I think they just throw the offer open to public now because it has been going for so long of people actually making certain decisions based on insider info. One of the key events was the tariff  war period when some strange trades went short on the market few minutes to the announcement of the tariffs on China then, another was when they announced both bombing of Iran and ceasefire agreements, all this had between them questionable trades.

So I think they have been selling it for a long term now and are just publicizing it now, but for $100k a month that’s outrageous because even with insider info in certain things the market does things sometimes the way it wants

I have done some finding concerning this story and based on my discovery, it is not actually that Trump is going to be selling or giving out classified insider information to his paid subscribers but rather the information that the subscribers are getting is an information that is already going public but just that the wall street traders, banks and firms that is going to subscribe to the truth media platform of Trum will get the information some seconds before it fully become public to everyone.  While this is not also fair in my opinion, I found an article where one US Senator is urging wall Street to rejects this offer of paid early access to information.

This is so concerning and very unfair because only wealthy firms can afford this so it's an unfair advantage over ordinary investors and traders, I just wonder why Trump would consider this despite knowing that it would benefit just wealthy firms. Some persons would argue that it's because of the money he is going to earn from it but he already earned millions of dollars from crypto lately.  I am wondering what other people thinks.

$100k might sound outrageous for someone like me and you, but for those who have millions or billions of dollars available to use for trading, they won't feel this is a lot because a single short or long position with a good amount on line can get them ten folds of what they are going to pay as the fee for the insider information they are going to get because they know that the market usually reacts to these things, and it can be a positive thing to all those who have enough capital to utilize on this and make a lot of money. So from a business point of view, it's a win-win for both the leaker of the news, and the ones who get the leaked news before it goes public.

Trading firms and big companies would love something like that, but I'm sure they are not going to act quickly, because such things require close evaluations because you wouldn't want to pay that much and then get nothing out of it. So now that this has become an offer for them, they will wait for his posts or tweets, observe how the market reacts to different posts or tweets he does, and then they will decide whether they should go for it or not based on how beneficial it can actually be for them if they do it. Those with business mindsets will always think of things from a businessman perspective.

That's the whole point, we as individuals are not the target market for this early access of his insider rather the institutions and those who can play big in the market through this manipulation. While the others caught for having insiders were investigated and questioned for that. This is vulgar and he's untouchable at the moment but maybe once he's done being the POTUS might put him into the same situation just like the fall guys for having insiders and people close to him.

Interesting to me is Pelosi retiring now that they are trying to ban politicians from trading stocks.

Well it seems that people already learn the past manipulative action done by Trump and this is why the market didn't move.

But still its different situation if he talk about oil, the tariffs and Iran issues. Since that one still proves that moves the market, those things still exist and yet didn't vanish. Although Trump still have influence, its good to see that investor became selective now and they didn't ride on each post he made.

Interesting to me is Pelosi retiring now that they are trying to ban politicians from trading stocks.

This is also another interesting thing happened, although there's issue about link to him that stock trading add some pressure to him. But what's clear he retire because he's already old. But somehow its policy to ban politicians from doing stock trading, since this is conflict on interest and we can possibly seen less potential manipulation on their side.

This topic is closer to gambling than Bitcoin speculation because those insider trading happens in the prediction market. There were some response in the gambling board that suggested that such things happens and may not be illegal but from the angle of morality and ethics, it does not seem cool.

Insiders can take advantage of information directly from the president and place bets there in order to reap huge profits.

I do not know and have not read any news other than this article, has there been some rejection from US agencies? This is very sensitive at all, especially since it has been reported several times about the involvement of people in government in betting predictions.

A $100k fee is really small or if you sign a 3-year contract of $60k per month when they are making billions out of it. This is clear market manipulation at its best. What the hell, they make it like they're paying for a Netflix subscription tbh and they're accessing a thing that can shake a market. Well, this could make also the platform obsolete because people may know that there's something going with this platform, I may be wrong though. This is absurdity in the making POTUS.

It is pretty crazy that the President of the United States is marketing an insider trading tool that he profits from. I guess if it is legal then it is legal… Probably no worse than Pelosi’s insider trading but still a horrible look for the United States. I don't think this is crazy news and at the same time there is no need to be surprised by this news. Because the actions of US President Donald Trump automatically prove that he is a crazy person. And it is not unexpected for him to do such unethical actions.

And if we talk about legal matters here, then I am sure that if this insider trading had been done by any other general person, it would not have been seen as it is today. Rather, the courts and jails would have become tense long ago. Here I think the law should be equal for everyone and this insider trading should definitely be published as illegal.
