1. IntroductionISCO is a single adaptive mining engine for CPU and GPU that auto-tunes itself to your hardware. Your hashpower is measured in Lum, and mining pays out in Kerr (KER) - the foundation of a new kind of blockchain banking economy built to fund real scientific research.
2. One Engine, Any Silicon - How ISCO WorksISCO detects what you're running - CPU, GPU, or both - and tunes itself automatically for the most efficient mining setup on your machine.
CPU - Adaptive coreDrop in the miner and ISCO tunes itself to your processor for the most Kerr per watt.
GPU - Same engineAdd a graphics card and ISCO shifts to GPU-optimized work automatically.
CPU + GPU - All of itRun both at once - every device feeds the same pool of Lum.
3. Power, Measured in LumLuminosity (Lum) is your real productive output. You earn Kerr for the proof-of-work you do: steady payouts in Pool mode, or a whole-block lottery weighted by your Lum in Solo. Fully auditable.
4. Kerr (KER) - TokenomicsMax Supply: 100,000,000 KER
Block Time: 10s
Block Reward: 8 KER
Consensus: Proof-of-Work
Engine: ISCO (adaptive CPU/GPU)
Mining-reward vesting: your mined KER releases gradually - 10% of your last-24h mining unlocks every day at 10:00 UTC, plus an extra 20% of your still-locked balance on Day 10 and again on Day 25, and a full unlock on Day 35. This keeps early sell-pressure low and rewards steady miners - from Day 35 vesting switches off for good - every coin is unlocked and freely tradable, and anything you mine afterwards is spendable instantly.
5. RoadmapMainnet (Jul 28, 2026) - Mining opens, point any CPU/GPU at ISCO from block 1.
Aug 4-5, 2026 - P2P marketplace opens - non-custodial KER/USDT swaps via on-chain escrow (we never hold your funds).
Aug 7, 2026 - Milestone unlock: an extra 20% of your still-locked rewards releases.
Aug 12, 2026 - First exchange listings (NonKYC, SafeTrade).
Aug 22, 2026 - Second milestone unlock (another 20% of locked rewards), more listings.
Sep 1, 2026 - Full unlock - vesting ends completely; all mined KER is freely tradable everywhere, and nothing you mine after this day is ever locked again.
Sep 11, 2026 - Open-source release: the full project source code goes public.
Sep 2026 - Staking + larger exchange venues.
Oct 2026 - Payment integrations, cross-chain bridges, wallet integrations (Trust Wallet), miner/validator program.
Nov 2026 - Ergosphere - dedicated liquidity-mining & holder-rewards pool.
Dec 2026 - Frame Dragging - native cross-chain bridge (EVM + non-EVM).
Jan 2027 - Redshift - revenue-funded buyback & burn.
Feb 2027 - Photon Sphere - L2 scaling for instant, low-fee payments.
Mar 2027 - Cauchy Horizon - full third-party audit + public bug bounty.
Apr 2027 - Singularity - on-chain DAO governance.
May 2027 - Superradiance - merchant onboarding, POS integrations, payments SDK.
Jun 2027 - Kerr-Newman - mobile wallet, Ledger/Trezor support, browser extension.
Jul 2027 - Accretion Disk - formal agreement with a licensed US crypto bank, fiat on/off-ramps & custody.
2027-2028 - Full merger with banking partner, Tier-1 exchange listings, Mainnet v2 (sharding), Event Horizon research grants.
2028-2029 - Orbital - Event Horizon funds and launches its own research satellite to study black holes, followed by a small satellite constellation and a formal Event Horizon Telescope collaboration; full DAO decentralization.
The full roadmap runs deeper - see the website for the complete timeline.
6. The TeamMarek Kowalski (29, Wrocław, Poland) - computer science & cryptography graduate of Warsaw University of Technology, formerly a security engineer and blockchain auditor. Leads technical architecture: network infrastructure, tokenomics, security.
Lukas Neumann (32, Bavaria, Germany) - astrophysics graduate of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, later built a career in data processing and high-performance computing while continuing to study astrophysics independently. Leads the scientific concept behind Event Horizon and outreach to research institutions.
The two met at a 2022 European tech forum on computing and data analysis, spent nearly two years exchanging ideas across physics and cryptography, and built Event Horizon around one core question: if blockchain can unite millions of people around a digital economy, why can't that economy fund real science?
