I don't like stablecoins and consider them not crypto, because stablecoins can't even be properly audited. Well, at least usdt. But! but I repeat, I would like this "semi-crypto product" to be maximally separated from the crypto world later. I believe that this "semi-product," as you call it, will not separate from Bitcoin, even if 20 years pass. The trend is for it to get even closer to Bitcoin. This is because exchanges will always need a stablecoins for people to trade. See the top 5 cryptocurrencies on CoinMarketCap: 1 - Bitcoin 2 - ETH 3 - Tether (stablecoin ) 4 - BNB 5 - USDC ( stablecoin ) In the top 5 coins on CoinMarketCap, we have 2 stablecoins. This shows that people are using stablecoins a lot and they don't care much about the scandals that Tether might have. These stablecoin guys are going to continue expanding their influence. Look at Tether, they created a token called XAUt that received Shariah certification. They want to enter the Islamic market with this token. Obviously, if they enter, they'll make more money and gain more power. Therefore, Tether will continue to strengthen its position in the cryptocurrency market.

That's why "altcoins" were invented. So, any other "coins" besides Bitcoin are considered altcoins, even these stablecoins.
I agree with @Slow death; stablecoins will stay just like how we have them different fiat currencies per country. They have their own markets, anyone can use them, but them being centralized are the totallly different how Bitcoin works.

For a crypto product utilized blockchain whether its a sidechain or own, a stablecoin crypto isnt just a side product at all next to bitcoin. Fot all we know its importance is likely visible to massive users. 1. Trading pair on different centralized exchange and even with non custodial platform. 2. Gateway onramp from fiat to crypto vice versa. 3. Most usable P2p currency (In my opinion at least to some major p2p platform)
Well in addition to what Slow death had mentioned. The usdt and usdc seems to be important at all by majority of users in terms of usage. Well guilty I am as one of those users to be using it for my purposes. Cant really remove it from thid ecosystem even some hated ut.

stablecoins are useful now, because they are becoming preferred by many due to the speed of transactions and the cheapness of shipping. "Shipping" Is not a crypto term used in place of "transaction", I guess you are referring to transaction fee here which depending on the chain network you are using, it can be free or extremely low (cheap). But I hope that sooner or later stablecoins will be more separated from crypto. Because everyone should understand the importance of decentralization and limited emissions, which are inherent in bitcoin. And I consider stablecoins to be an idea that has been profitably "sold" to the masses, but I repeat, I would like this "semi-crypto product" to be maximally separated from the crypto world later.
Irrespective of stablecoins being centralized, they have a true purpose they serve to investors (traders and Bitcoin holders) and the crypto ecosystem at large. It doesn't stop anyone from understanding the importance of decentralization. For example, those Bitcoin investors who took profits by selling their Bitcoin when the price was still above $120k per BTC benefited from doing so. If they hadn't sold then, the price of Bitcoin would still have dipped, and they would have been sitting in a floating loss waiting for the price to pump again. Instead, they sold their Bitcoin for stablecoins, and now that the price of Bitcoin has fallen, they have the opportunity to use those stablecoins to buy more Bitcoin and increase their holdings. Assuming I sold 1 BTC last year for $125k (USDT) and held the $125k USDT until last month, then decided to buy Bitcoin again when the price dipped to $58k, I would have bought 2.156 BTC. What does that tell you? It tells you that I was able to preserve both my capital and profits in a stable form, protecting them from Bitcoin's price volatility. I was also able to acquire more Bitcoin than I originally sold during the bull market because I temporarily locked in my profits with stablecoins. This clearly demonstrates the value of stablecoins in relation to Bitcoin and the crypto space. Have you ever asked yourself why you don't usually see BTC/BTC trading pairs in futures, but instead see BTC/USDT or BTC/USDC? That's because you cannot meaningfully trade Bitcoin against Bitcoin or against another asset that has a similarly high degree of price volatility. You need stablecoins to lock in your profits at a fixed value that won't be significantly affected by the high price swings of the other asset.

Stable coins are useful but dangerous and it's not safe to store your fund or wealth in stable coins. Stable coins can depeg and your portfolio, fund, wealth will vapor quickly in value if depeg happens to trigger a death spiral of a stable coin, such as Terra stable coin UST. There is another risk, stable coins are centralized and can be frozen even in non custodial wallets. PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets.Stable coins and blacklists.Stable coins frozen by issuers.

Although Bitcoin remain the greatest coin ever but others still have their use case although some can be very shitty and useless, if was that useless that it shouldn't be placed next to Bitcoin, then it wouldn't be in the top list of the CoinMarketCap, that's why i support your point that "it can't separate from Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency since it's still useful for trade in exchanges", very good for swapping too. Stablecoins are here to stay, gresonz shouldn't forget that it offers less volatility to people who use it, compared to other Cryptocurrencies, maybe he's not buying the fact that it has less asset value like Bitcoin, but every coin can't be like Bitcoin and it still has it's role to play in the crypto space.

Having stable coin close to bitcoin being detailed in position does not mean anything, I would have focused on how stablecoins has been widely used and also consider its numerous ways it has been serving the same purpose through which we may try to even acquire Bitcoin with stablecoins, consider the other from coinmarketcap and see how all these are being given preference to, today you will have to use a stable current in most cases to exchange for any other coin of your choice you wanted to invest and hold including Bitcoin.

Just look at it this way: almost every altcoin came after Bitcoin and borrowed something from its idea. Bitcoin is still the original, so if someone says they dislike altcoins, that should also include the other coins that fall under the altcoin category.
Stablecoins are a good example of how different they are from Bitcoin. They are more like a crypto version of traditional money because they are tied to the US dollar and usually operate under heavier regulation. That makes them useful for payments and trading, but they do not really follow the same purpose as Bitcoin.
Bitcoin was built around decentralization and transactions that cannot simply be reversed by a company or bank. With many altcoins, especially regulated stablecoins, there is still an issuer or authority that can freeze funds or interfere with transactions. So even if they all use blockchain technology, they are not necessarily trying to achieve the same thing.

Stablecoins are not literally a Coin, they are token because they were built on already existing blockchain.
USDT TRON USDT ETH USDT SOL USDT BSC USDT TON etc...
Stablecoins and Bitcoin are differently built, separate roles and how we should use them. I'm not going to buy stablecoin because I want to maximize profits from my investment, and if I want to maintain a stable worth of asset over a period, that's when to use stablecoins.

Bitcoin = store of value/hedging asset.
Stablecoin = medium of exchange based on fiat tokenization.
Both of things already in the different dimension. I think you're just overthinking about stablecoin while you have even aware and said that how stablecoins are also boosting bitcoin. Beside that the fact is that most of bitcoin volume are ceoncentrated in the stable coins pair.

I don't think it's about separating stablecoins from crypto, but rather differentiating between Bitcoin and altcoins, which stablecoins fall under. Frankly, only Bitcoin is decentralized; everything else isn't. So, it's more about altcoins, as they're nothing more than tokens, not on the same level as Bitcoin. While they're preferred by many for their speed, etc., Bitcoin still stands in its own category and shouldn't be compared to altcoins.

I dont think they think it is needed. People use usdt mostly in ethereum and tron and other networks. They might not want to be related to binance.. I dont know , those are speculations But any usdt in binance network isnt usdt.

The concept of Stablecoins are not in the same category as bitcoin. While bitcoin paved the way for the cryptocurrency ecosystem, stablecoins were created to serve a different purpose, they’re pegged to fiats to enable easy exchange of coins. There’s no way they are put in the same sentence or category as bitcoin, they’re Altcoins.
I think for now they’re still very much useful, you just have to be careful when using it and ensure not to store large funds in it for a long time as they can be frozen at any time since they’re centralised.

They are going to try and muddy the waters between Bitcoin and stablecoins/tokens in order to get more and more of people's wealth away from BTC and into vehicles they can control and confiscate. My advice to people is to not use Bitcoin for anything but saving in Bitcoin. The second you start touching the flood of financial garbage they're going to try to entice you with, your financial freedom will disappear.

Literally, Bitcoin is a coin and stablecoins are tokens. People must learn and be able to differentiate between coins and tokens. Definition of tokens. It's freedom so let altcoins to be put next to Bitcoin, either they are Bitcoin forks (shitforks) or altcoins or tokens. I see no serious issue here. Bitcoin is strong and will stay, altcoins, shitforks, shittokens will die because they are weak. How many Bitcoin forks?

"Shipping" Is not a crypto term used in place of "transaction", I guess you are referring to transaction fee here which depending on the chain network you are using, it can be free or extremely low (cheap).
I believe what the OP is referring to is shipping cost, or the amount it will cost one to settle international deals, both fee and means of getting it done together cost and not shipping in terms of moving transaction. USDT BSC
Just a small observation. There isnt USDT on BSC network. There is a token which is backed by another token, issued by binance. You mean this token: 0x55d398326f99059fF775485246999027B3197955 (BSC-USD) in exchanges they still regard it as USDT spreading the confusion. They already showed its possible to create one, what's holding them from authorizing it?
I dont think they think it is needed. People use usdt mostly in ethereum and tron and other networks. They might not want to be related to binance.. I dont know , those are speculations But any usdt in binance network isnt usdt. There is an initiative introduced by Binance sometime around 2023 if not earlier which they name "project token canal". In this project, they claim to use their money to buy a real token, locked it in a vault and then mint a peg of that token into their own chain to make it easier for the exchange to facilitate withdrawal of those tokens in their network also making bsc demand expand, before they later moved and made it available not to only Binance but in other places which was when Wbtc and Weth was out their according to what I read then its was to make fee cheaper and many mistakes the wrapped coins to the real one.
