Official FTN Notes printed by Royal Joh. Enschedé – Any collectors here?

Hello everyone,

I have been collecting physical banknotes for many years and recently started looking into physical cryptocurrency collectibles.

I am curious whether there are members here who collect the official FTN Notes issued by Fastex and printed by Royal Joh. Enschedé.

From what I have found, they are polymer banknotes with advanced security features and were backed 1:1 by FTN tokens.

I have not seen many discussions about them on Bitcointalk, which surprised me considering the popularity of Casascius, Lealana, Polymerbit and other physical crypto collectibles.

Are there collectors here who own FTN Notes?

Do you think they have collector value beyond their token value?

I would be very interested to hear your opinions and experiences.

I have not seen many discussions about them on Bitcointalk, which surprised me considering the popularity of Casascius, Lealana, Polymerbit and other physical crypto collectibles.

These makers mainly focused on Bitcoin collectibles (and to a lesser degree Litecoin and Monero).
Most other physical collectibles that are alt-coin / token associated become bargain bin leftovers for pennies on the dollar or are given away in raffles
Polymerbit notes already incorporate similar security features, so this is nothing new to our community.
Considering the crypto FTN is a Binance Chain token and that the associated exchange seems dead, I would think there is zero demand as the notes are useless
Every link or website associated to this project no longer works....  guess the bear market put an end to this scam.

One thing that surprised me during my research is that FTN itself is still active. Bahamut is operational, FTN is still traded on multiple exchanges and Royal Joh. Enschedé and Authentix both published information about these notes.

My interest is mainly from a collectible perspective rather than speculation on the token itself.

I was wondering if you have ever actually seen a complete FTN Note set offered for sale or sold privately?

I have searched extensively but couldn’t find any examples.

It's the first time I am seeing this altcoin and any of its products.
There are many mints/printers/producers - it's always interesting to see something new.
These look like a private edition - not released to public? The only way to get more would be to ask directly to producer or get in touch with some "founders" of this altcoin.
 
About the "token" they have not registered trading volume on CMC despite a volume in USD of 4 BILLIONS of token... and it seems that 75% of totally amount of token is currently owned by top 10 addresses (total holders according CMC - 479 users)

Never heard of FTN before, although I'm sure there are plenty of alt coins I've never heard of.

I do think these notes look neat though, they give me the save vibes as the offline.cash notes by Tom Badley.
