However, have you traded for someone and how does it ends and where you able to meet up to the monthly/weekly returns as said by the person? Share your thoughts so we can learn.
Trading for someone is just another level totally. Before you get to such level you must have fully understood your psychology level and know how to protect your capital at all cost. You should have an excellent skill in risk management because your clients will not be happy to see that on an account which you claim to manage you simply couldn't pull off any single profits at the end of the day. I've seen many traders who in a short period of their trading journey suddenly begins to request clients for account management and this is where the beginning of their problem comes from. You shouldn't rush into account management because of the kind of profits that's involved because the risk is just too much and could call for serious crime charges..
I completely agree with you. Managing account requires much more then only be profitable in own trading. The success is based on consistency, discipline and risk management, as you manage somebody elses money and trust.
We many see the young traders "taking over" client accounts just because they had "few winning trades". The market is always changing, just winning is not enough, to be really successful you have to have a tested strategy and emotional control, as everybody lose.
Transparency must also be on high level. Clients have to be informed about risks as there is no trader which can guarantee profit. Setting realistic goal is very important but, of course, respecting all the legal and regulatory rules too.
For me, and I think all others involved in account management too should have for instance: tested history, sufficient level of own risk control, knowledge to get through the market fluctuations and much bigger awareness as you get only 10k to 30k dollars to manage someone's money not 1m dollars.
