Did theymos remove ThemePen from merit source?
According to Merit Stats, there are 85 merit sources now. The last time I checked it, there were 86 merit sources. ThemePen also hasn't sent any merit in the last three days.

It's good, but IMO theymos should also consider undo all sent merit from former merit source that were removed due to merit abuse, multiple/farming account or other serious violation. That way, it would invalidate effort/time they spend.

I have even a better saying for this situation, in Latin is "Unum castigabis, centum emendabis", which means "punish one, to correct one hundred".
So this would be not only a lesson for the Pakistani community but also a warning for everybody else in the future: if you screw it up, you're done in you local community too because you'll basically be isolated by your own friends.

Unfortunately, you're in Theymos's land where it's better to let 1000 wrongdoers loose rather then punish an innocent.
Let's keep the discussions to things that might be possible to do right now as Theymos:
- will not reset the merit of the known abusing ex-merit sources
- will most likely delete the contest topic if we ban a community

And also it bothers me on a personal level the fact that these scammers think they are so smart while everybody else is stupid. CryptoYar basically attracted all the attention to himself because of his greed since he chose to want a merit source. He could have stayed under the radars...

Let's be real now, in a maximum 2-3 months there will be 2-3 legendaries coming out of there in the open, baking pizza and participating in giveaways and the only difference will be that next time they will use different bowls and pretty sure we'll have another merit application also.

Your,re correct, this is a very big farm. Just when Themepen became Merit Source, nutildah showed his concerns that  HONDACD125 and Alone055 are also part of this farm. Need to investigate further on these accounts.

I am against this account being made a merit source. It made too many transfers from and to the gmjutt6/NoorulHuda address, which is still active on the BSC side of things, despite both accounts being banned for years now. In addition that that, there's a strong chance they also control the Rustam Meraj account:

Also, I do not trust accounts like HONDACD125 and Alone055 -- both are vouching for this account to be made a merit source and that's probably a bad sign.

If Rustam Meraj make pizza together with Publictalk792 then i suggest try to check sawera2255@ . In the case of two people making pizza together, found out after finding many similarities. I found something that Rustam Meraj and sawera2255@ has two similarities which are use same blue color and same blue tone food coloring, the bubble shape above the whale and number shape of rustam meraj are similar. Can it be said that it is also coincidence. Beside that when Sawera2255@ can not upload her pizza picture, Publictalk792 help her very fast (around 5 minutes after upload) is it also coincidence. Try to check sawera2255@ is the one who updated periodically number of pizza votes on pakistan thread. Beside that i thik she is very lucky, she just joined bitcointalk several days before contest announced and for newbie, she get merit fast comparing to other member. Is it wrong if i smell fishy ?

In meta, Yar had all the time in the world to lock the application thread as suggested even before the "same kitchen/same plate" evidences showed up--- I guess he needs to own up to all these accusations now?

He had plenty of time to lock the thread, I asked him to consider doing it but he wanted to keep it open in order to address the allegations and that was (as you correctly stated) before the identical plates for the Pizza Day competition entries issue arose.

I will say this, there are many members - I can sat at least 20 or so forum users here that we get together annually. and some of them quite a bit more frequently than that.

not defending the users in question or making any claims on them being different or the same person(s) just saying that the claim of getting together with other forum members is possible.

Without a doubt there are many members that get together for meetings/events, some maybe more than several times a year.

Having said that, in this particular case if one of the farmed accounts has stated that at least two of them have been meeting for the specific purpose to bake individual pizzas in order to enter in the Pizza Day competition, then that is taking it too far. That story was spun after the identical plates issue was highlighted.

What is fishy is that you created a newbie account and this was your only post. You should have posted using your real account (or one of your real accounts if you have more than one).

Keeping that aside, I will look in to the "sawera2255@" account when I have time.

This is good news. If he has taken against ThemePen by removing him from merit source, it should send out a signal to any other farmed account merit sources that they could be noticed at any time too.

So you mean he came twice your home to cook the pizza on different days ?  But as per the rules Pizza must be made by yourself and if a close relative is helping you, that doesn't mean he also put his entry in competition, so that is cheating as here in these two pizzas, two participants efforts were involved and both of them had their enteries in the contest.

I've seen this story before. Cheaters keep trying to defend themselves with these unbelievable arguments, so what they achieve are more red tags. Until one they the realise, or maybe just get tired and stop. People who otherwise would have stayed neutral, meaning they wouldn't have red tagged those accounts, do so precisely because of that stupid way cheaters have of trying to defend themselves.

Just one (important) clarification: Theymos owns the forum but he doesn't manage the Pizza Contest. As far as I know, he is not involved in the contest's rules.

So Pakistan because it is very hot, they cook on the same day (in a 200° oven).
But they prepared the pizza on different days.

Yes, I messaged both theymos and @hhampuz after I have read the post which suggested that someone should do so. People may have conflicts and disagreements about many things, but reasonable people are able to look past by them when a situation demands it. I will not quote what he replied without permission, but perhaps he will find some time to share his thoughts on this case as well. Nevertheless, acting on it if necessary is always more important than giving an opinion -- which he did by removing the merit source and confirming it via a message.

Don't consider the stories of cheaters of frauds too much, if you have to do it then only do it to have some fun with it. Don't even try to seriously think about it, it is a complete waste of your thinking power and will impact you negatively. These stories or well attempts at giving excuse act as subtle poison to your brain. Many users here waste way too much time on individual cases instead of acting on them and moving on, the queue of frauds is endless.

Yes, I messaged both theymos and @hhampuz after I have read the post which suggested that someone should do so.

Yes, it was me who suggested this because it is necessary that those ranks (merit source) and campaigns are taken away from the scammers.

I was checking some of the other pizza submitted by the Pakistani community and maybe I'm wrong but, to me, these pizza pans look very similar because of the inner circles and also the depth:

And there is potentially even a third pizza but the pictures quality is quite low, so I'm not sure. This is the link.

As I said, I'm not 100% sure but it's quite a coincidence the first two pizza pans look so similar. Is it a common type of pan in Pakistan? Does it come as a bundle with the plates?
