I really want your expectations to be met. But do you believe in it yourself? Imagine someone who has already received such a sum from the forum(let's assume it's easy), leaving the forum quite easily? We haven't closed the "doors" to them; the forum is open. There's no IP address binding here; you can register with a different IP address, and we'll also add some points that will be like red lines for these cheaters , lines they must not cross. They're quite experienced cheaters now. And they will definitely come back. We told them everything they shouldn't do, but the "doors" on the forum are open.🤗
Even now, you can see the characteristic "sympathies" in the transfer of merits from these accounts to other accounts that already (most likely) belong to them (it always comes out in the plural, even though, in theory, we should be talking about one person🕵️♂️).
Honest answer: no.
In fact, I'm almost 100% certain they are already back.
$2,000 is not a small amount. The average monthly income for many families in Pakistan is only a few hundred dollars, and judging purely from the lengths these people went to for relatively small amounts, $2,000 could represent many months of income for them.
Anyway, putting that aside, the Pizza Contest win may simply have been a fluke—their good luck and the forum's bad luck. Previous Pizza Contests have been great events, and I don't think what happened this time should take anything away from that.
So, in the end, we don't really have a concrete way to stop them from coming back. We just have to be more vigilant and make it increasingly difficult for them to succeed.

Tbh, I don't see how that would change anything. Once they get caught cheating, they would get red tagged, making their account useless for future money milking purposes, so why give the money back?
Well, you're right. Why would they even respond to such a request once they get caught? Creating another account is easy.
That's where I think we have to draw the line. Bitcointalk and theymos shouldn't be responsible for policing every contest while also keeping the forum open and fair to everyone. Being open and pseudonymous is a core feature of Bitcointalk, not a bug. And after all, the forum wasn't built specifically for organizing such contests.
So I think all participants could collectively help make these events more trustworthy. For example, there could be a short verification/cooldown period after the results are announced but before the prizes are distributed.
Let's say the total prize pool is above $1,000. There could be a 10-day verification period during which participants and other forum members can do some basic checks and raise concerns if they notice anything suspicious. This would also avoid putting the entire burden on the organizer(s). For smaller contests, perhaps 3–5 days would be enough.
The responsibility wouldn't be to prove that every participant is genuine, but simply to raise a flag if something looks suspicious before the money is distributed.

What I found both extremely strange was that not a single member of the local board posted in the threads related to the accounts that primarily use the Pakistan board. They were aware of what was going on yet none posted to express disappointment at what their fellow board users were doing. Not only that, some did post in the CryptoYar merit source application to support him.
Account farmers do not fade away, they use other accounts to enroll in campaigns. If you give over $2000 in prize funds to a puppeteer controlling several accounts and then later tag the accounts to render them useless, the account farmer will not fade away. On the contrary, the account farmer will do whatever it takes in order to try to win more prizes. I am sure there are more accounts in that farm, it is just about having the time to discover them and then tag them.
You or i think someone else already pointed out one possible reason earlier:
to avoid scrutiny of their own farms.
Well, according to the latest stats shared by Rikafip, Mr., Mrs., Miss... or maybe they/them—you never know 😄—
Sawera2255 is among the top 10.
And if you look at the post history of the Pakistan thread, there is hardly any discussion-oriented posting. Most of the posts are just news updates. So obviously, some users seem to be there simply to fulfill their monthly posting quota or pick up a merit here and there.
I doubt some of them are even reading what others are posting, so don't expect much discussion there about what's happening, let alone any critical evaluation of the actions of these alleged farms.

It actually might. Now you only need a few real life friends to make this story work. They will try to cover your ass no matter how stupid your story really is. They might even try to out-ridicule theymos. :/
I once read somewhere saying the superpower of a human is his/her ability to tell a story some smart-ass said. If enough number of people believes it, it becomes pretty much real.
The earth is flat btw. You know it and I know it. Wake up sheeple.
Hahaha, this is why Bitcoin uses proof-of-work instead of proof-of-belief. 😄
Wait... isn't
proof-of-stake basically
proof-of-belief? 🤔
This also explains why PoS shouldn't be trusted. With proof-of-stake, apparently a big enough stake can even make the Earth flat. 😂
