For a crypto tool, wallet, exchange, or community name, would a plural .com still look usable if the singular .com is already a live site?

Some plural names sound natural for tools or communities.

Would users trust it, or would the singular create too much confusion?

Would be suspicious and scammy. A serious project or community has to be creative and original enough not to sound or operate like others..
By the way, the original will likely have problem with that as its users and potential users could easily be decieved and even unknowingly input their login details thinking it's the original

Are making these topic in an attempt to attract customers? Or do you actually care?

Honestly, we just thought it was an interesting naming question. Crypto is one of those areas where a small domain difference can change trust very quickly, so singular vs plural felt worth asking here. No hidden plan behind it, just trying to join some discussions.

True, especially in crypto. One extra "s" may look small, but when wallets, logins or deposits are involved, people will get suspicious fast.
