BitcoinTalk Banned Users Identifier v2.0

The new version 2.0 introduces Sigban checks alongside the existing Ban checks from version 1.0..

In addition, I added a modal page to view the latest logs.. For now, it only handles Sigbanned profiles, but future updates could include the latest bans as well.

Installation

Userscript:


   Use Tampermonkey, which works for both Chrome and Firefox.

   Add the script from GreasyFork
  
FOR MOBILE :
Download kiwi or FireFox Nightly browser for Android

 Install Tamper Monkey Extension on the Kiwi Or Firefox Nightlly browser...  [ Sample screenshot]

Open the Tampermonkey Extension and install script from GreasyFork

Download the Source code to your local machine from Github.
  
Load the unpacked extension on chrome://extensions (Chrome) or about:debugging (Firefox) > Load Temporary Add-on.

Unzip the source code and select the "Extension/" folder for Chrome, or select the "Extension/manifest.json" file for Firefox.

Currently, the hot topic is the signature ban, and there are no such notifications in this BPIP extension, but that's why there are some other useful info.

I should have included a link to the old thread to avoid any confusion.. As the title suggests, this is simply version 2 of the existing tool, and the only new feature I added is the Sigban check.

I created the tool as a lightweight alternative for checking banned users because of this thread Banned members should be indicated on their profile summary, and my main focus has always been the Userscript.

The new update should have bumped the old thread, but I didn't want to merge them because some users may not want the Sigban check alongside the existing Ban check.

I will add the link and bump the old thread.. there's already a reference to the extension you mentioned, on the thread btw.

First up thumbs up for the effort you put in. however i don't think it is a very necessary tool if i'm being honest currently BPIP already displays a user's archival or banned status. Alot of persons may not really find it necessary to install an extra extension for the same information.

That aside as for the current signature ban trend the forum itself already indicates if a user is signature banned or not all you really have to do is check out the user's profile. examplens referenced another thread but i'm not sure if there was a totally separate one from bpip.

BPIP already displays a user's archival or banned status. Alot of persons may not really find it necessary to install an extra extension for the same information.

Not really about the extension but I think it’s confusing a lot of people when they click the link and find Extension & Userscript ..  I fixed that aswell.

I will repeat myself, that the tool isn’t competing with any other tool. The focus is on Userscript, so users can have a lightweight script running in Background. I already explained that on the old thread.. it’s fine

What if you can just easily identify all sigbanned  users on a thread without visiting their profile.
The profile is just an extra- since I already have an existing similar implementation.
