Garden Finance a decentralized swap protocol has taken its application offline after detecting a security breach that targeted the off-chain database of one of the network's solvers.
According to the team, the attackers stole assets owned by the affected solver while user funds were not impacted.
They also stated that the protocol's smart contracts were not directly compromised.
Blockchain security firm Blockaid estimated that the attacker has stolen around $450,000 from one of the protocol's independent solvers.
Security firms are still tracking the stolen funds, while the company is still investigating the incident.
