I know that there might be matches going on, but I can not just place bets with teams and league I'm not familiar with, that's another level of gambling lol.
Nevertheless I know that there are some bettors here who still bet in sports even if you are not too familiar with the league or teams, If there are how well do you get profits, because I know of a fact that if you bet on the league you are familiar with, you will make more profits that of that you aren't familiar with.

I do not have to be familiar with a league before I will know on the matches to bet on the league. There are stats, predictions and AI which can all help. But if it is not interesting to you and not having fun with it, just do not bet at all. Wait until the major leagues like Premier League, La  Liga and others start in August.

You are right, I don't bet on teams that I'm not familiar with. The Champions League and Europa League qualifiers are ongoing but I hardly watch the game because I'm not that familiar with the teams. The world cup has just ended and I don't want to spoil the experience with uninteresting games.

It is better to wait for the season to begin to resume gambling fully. If you’re betting on leagues you don’t know the nature of their competition, you’ll be risking your money and may end up losing plenty of money. There is no rush in gambling because the result are not always guaranteed no matter how familiar you are with the game. I am very familiar with the teams because I also follow those lower leagues but the qualifications are difficult to predict because the teams are from different leagues. I also just skip it and I also do not watch their matches. My betting will begin when the season have began but in the past when I have not started working, I always bet on lower leagues. I do not have much time to follow the leagues anymore.

It will depend on how good you are at sport betting. You don't have to be familiar with leagues to place bets on them, simply do some research about their recent games, wins and loss and compare data to know what team has a better chance of winning. Before the world cup, we had other interesting seasons which was worth betting on. Also I went have the virtual games where you can bet on stimulated matches. Though I don't know if casinos offers them as I'm more concerned about live matches. Back in the days I used to enjoy placing bets on virtual games but since moving to the online casinos I no longer enjoy them as much.. so like I said, you don't have to be familiar with any league or team to bet on just be smart..

I am patiently waiting for the new season to start. I actually tired placing a few bets some days ago, but I end up not betting at all because I was not familiar with the teams. Since I had no real idea which team was stronger, so instead of betting on a games I wasn't so confident about, I just decided to take a break. Moreover, it's not compulsory that a person must gamble every single day.

But I believe that there are still plenty of gamblers that is wagering on the ongoing matches, despite not knowing much about the teams. Some gamblers are just willing to take the risk because such people are only focus on making a profit or they just want to keep the action going. So I will personally wait for competitions and teams that I know well instead of putting my hopes on guesswork.

You are lucky that you are still able to exercise some level of self-control and that even after the World Cup competition and the marathon betting that maybe you engaged in, you still have been able to stay away from carrying on gambling with the same momentum as you had during the World Cup. Wether you bet on teams or leagues you are familiar with, there is no guarantee of winning, not at all. I remember one time I won a bet I just placed randomly. I was tired of betting on leagues that I knew and not winning. So that day, I decided to bet on anything I saw and my mind was okay with it. To my surprise, I won the bet without expectations. So, I don't really think winning depends on how familiar you are with the teams you bet on, though they have some degree of confidence it offers, and sometimes you win or loss, but then, if you win, it's just luck.

I think pre season matches are already on, and so gamblers still have the opportunity to bet on there preferred leagues or teams and so how it goes. You could still add some odd games if you wish. I just think it depends on your choice and how important it feels for you to bet continually or take a break till the actual league starts. But for me, it's a pause till the new season begins

You probably want to wait in this scenario, because forcing yourself to bet on football probably means that you have a problem and the fun you get from sports betting will start to evaporate from this point. There is an element of value betting and enjoying the hunt of finding a profit, but on these obscure and lesser known teams you really are taking a punt. There is a good chance that outside of the major leagues your bets become much more risky and vulnerable to "insider influence" which is a friendly way of saying cheating. I used to think that it is always a good idea to wait for the main leagues to resume because of the fact that you have more options to choose from and that the chances of winning from betting on clubs you are familiar with are much higher but after some experiences I have had my thoughts on this has changed.

Most of the wins I have gotten were from club friendlies and leagues outside of the popular ones that we normally bet on, I simply opened my mind to the possibilities of getting good options with the smaller divisions, although luck still had a role to play.

The bottom line is that waiting for the season to resume doesn't guarantee making profit from betting but at the end of the day it is your choice to make, if it works for you then there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Whether you are familiar with the league or not, you will lose your bets if you are not lucky at all. Even though you are 80% lucky, you will still lose your bet. Before a gambler wins his bet, they are already  100% lucky, so don't say that if anyone is familiar with the league they will make more profit.
What you should say here is that being familiar with the league will only increase your chance of winning a bet, but also know that even if it increases your chances of winning, that doesn't mean it gives you any guarantee of winning a bet.

Honestly, I get your point, but the predictions, stats and AI you mentioned are all supposed to serve as a guide, so depending on it completely won't help. Football,you see, has a lot of surprises that most times, even with predictions you will still lose. So without you having an understanding of how the game is going, you will end up misreading the info that is being given to you by AI or stats. So I will say that adding your own understanding with a little bit of research about the game you want to bet on will be better than putting all hopes on mere numbers. Betting has a lot of risk even with all the analysis on ground, and it's not guaranteed that the outcome will be as expected.
