I didn't know there was a change in the KOs, I was more concerned in being among the top 20s before I look up on KOs, and funny enough, when I wanted to take a step to start aiming for KO's, that was exactly when I got KO'd 

First round was an interesting one, looking forward to see how the next one goes.

Congratulations to the winners of the first shot since i didnt properly congratulate them since i was in a hurry and only post about my thoughts and things to solve for the upcoming next saturday, now without the check in i hope i can reach out the tabble a little bit late without being out.

Next time i hope to have more luck on my shots since the last time i went out with 2 K against a pair of two who receive another 2 in the flop and killed me.

I will try to play more seriously in the next one.

Yes and please don't miss the qualifier rounds because as you can see, the knockouts pay off for everyone. With a single knockout per round you would already make your money back for the six rounds, but the chance to make it top 3 is pretty good and that really pays off. @magician0_0 really got the jackpot in the first round with 8 knockouts, but obviously if you make it 1st in a qualifier, you most likely had a couple of knockouts to your account on top of the prize money and the grand final ticket.

Royse and I discussed knockouts for top 20 only, but then decided that it is more thrilling to get bounties right from the start and I think that is the best solution. At first we didn't want to have all the stress monitoring everything, recording all tables and then watch everything again. But I think the solution with these forms is a good way to go.


@darbitmobilerecovery you still got your first knockout booked of course and I hope there are more to come (not against me though ).

We will give four blind levels time for anyone who is late to still play the round. That is 4*7 minutes, so ~half an hour. That's a fair compromise I think because otherwise, the way Pokernow works, it is annoying for everyone else. If I am not mistaken, the clock is always running down for absent players and that was annoying like hell in the past. Anyway, half an hour is pretty good and in a worst case scenario, just log in on your phone, you stay logged in there and you can just play a few hands fro there if you are on the go.

You had two Kings or KK? In the first scenario losing against a pair of two is not unlikely, but if you had KK it's bitter

Me not sure either if I only KO'd three players last night or more because I was already extremely sleepy. I even said I hoped Round 1 of this tournament wouldn't take 3 hours, but unfortunately it ended up taking the more than 3 hours. It was already past midnight here in the Philippines and the tournament still wasn't finished. Hopefully, something can be done to keep the rounds to around 2 hours at most.

Yes the time is a problem for some of the players. I played until final table and win 3rd prize and I think it was around 3 hours? I can't remember what it was, but I don't think the rounds will finish in less than 3 hours. I liked the blinds and the time for each blind level and I don't think changes will be made now, but MVPoker and AB de Royse777 can answer this.

My goal is still to win 1st prize and a ticket in one of the rounds, but I don't complain as the first round was good for me. Or maybe I still have to fear revenge from AB de Royse777. I removed him from the table with K and 5 and he had jacks and on flop came 10 5 5. The moment I hit those cards, I knew he would be angry at me.

I saw that, against pocket twos, with a 2 hitting the flop. Those are always tough to swallow but that's just poker.
I had a wild first hour, at one point I dropped all the way down to 800 chips, which was just 2 BBs at the time. I shoved and four people called trying to take my bounty. I won that pot to get up to 4k and almost the exact same scenario happened a few hands later, I got super lucky to quintuple up twice, mainly because everyone was calling my short stack all ins chasing the bounty. Unfortunately I ended up losing it all not too long after anyway.
Hoping for less drama and a bit more run good in the next round!

Yes like you said that is what poker is, i dont feel bad since i think is a hand which i had to call and play so losing in that way hurts in one way but you know you did the correct move so it doesnt hurt a lot in that other side.

Sometimes in poker is crazy when you are against the ropes and call every all in you win with weak hands and is crazy.

Yeah some people made statement on wether they will purchase the tickets or not but there is a possibility that it could be exactly only 10 playing in the end. Thats extra $200 on top of the prizepool since 6 people will be guaranteed a spot there

I'll quote this from Royse, so you know it's legit and that it's really after the season ends, or take his latter statement that if you've got some of those bounties, you can purchase a ticket to the grand final if you won't be winning the qualifier rounds. These bounties are really great ROI.

Regarding knockout reward. MV and me decided to send it after the season. We will total the knockout for individuals, in the mean time anyone can use it to buy there seat for the grand final too.

There is a total of 33 bounties and 5 bounties have still not been reported. I don't know who has knockouts, so please report them and keep in mind that your hand history is gone after 5 days unless you save it. Afterwards knockouts that haven't been reported can't be paid out. Please ignore if you don't have any knockouts.

He had KA so the bluff was reasonable. I had the three of a kind so I was not worry at all.

Well i improve my perfromance from the first one so not so bad at all, i went from finishing 19 in the first one (if im not mistaken) to the 13º in this one, it was strange since i went into the ropes very early in the game thanks to lose a big bet because of a kicker, and that was like premonitory later in the game i ended up losing most of my bankroll again thanks to a higher kicker in the hand of my rival.

Seems like i have to keep working to get my ticket for the final

It feels unreal, I played for almost 3 hours and so close to top three. my AA got cracked by KQ. This is one of the worst feeling ever in poker, when the best hand somehow gets cracked. If only I won that hand then top 3 is guaranteed for sure, thats 1 ticket for the finale
