Delta Governor Protocol Officer Allegedly Assaulted After Praising Tinubu Administration

Reports indicate that Mr. Tempo Mudi, a Protocol Officer to the Delta State Governor, was allegedly assaulted by some youths during the Delta State APC leadership meeting held at the PTI Conference Centre in Warri.
   


According to the reports, the incident occurred after Mr. Mudi reportedly described President Bola Tinubu  administration as the best thing to happen to Nigeria. He was said to have sustained injuries during the attack.

If this report is accurate, it is definitely a worrying sign. political meeting should be  a place where people can express support or disagreement without fair of violence. Once intimidation become acceptable within a political gathering, it discourages honest participation and damage public confidence in the political process.
Whether the victim supports president Tinubu or anyone else, this incident deserves a transparent investigation.

Agreed with you, the report is true and it's been circulating since yesterday that it happened, I don't agree with what the mob did to him but again we must be careful of what we say in certain areas, majority of the citizens are tired of this present government and you as an individual, going to gatherings and singing praises of the same government that has dealt with and are dealing with the citizens on daily basis is what you need to watch. I came across this news yesterday on social media (Facebook) and I was thinking the news is fake but coming to meet same news here again has truly shown that it's very true, by the actions of the Youths we can all testify to the hardship and hate the Youths have on the administration of Tinubu and if he is seen by chance this same act that has been melted on the Man will equally be done to him because Nigerians are not smiling.

Though this is not right and it's condemnable we shouldn't take laws into our hands as everyone has the right of expression in the country and we should channel our anger and frustration on voting out Tinubu come 2027 than inflicting injuries on his supporters, whether we like it or not there are people that are benefitting heavily from his administration and they must always support him either in good or bad.

Nobody is happy on this administration but what they did to this protocol officer is wrong, and besides it was an APC ground so definitely they will expect good things to be said on Tinubu so that people would vote him again. Meanwhile to those who have refused to believe that Tinubu did not rule the country well they should be very careful in saying anything favouring to his administration in the public because people are heartless. With how brutal this beaten is if there was no security on ground who knows how much harm they would have done to him so actually this also point to how careful everybody should be on the election time.

Honestly this is so funny, I can't just stop laughing. President Tinubu is enjoying himself in Abuja and you there here they collecting beating, just because of small money that will be given to you, you want to live your family and die.  It is very difficult for us to support this politician because after they have wronged the entire country and you decided to support them, where they are not wanted honestly this is how it all ended. Even though Bola Ahmed Tinubu has turned this country upside down, I'm not surprised with the praise a Protocol Officer to the Delta State Governor showered on Bola Ahmed Tinubu regime, saying it's the best thing to happen to Nigeria because a typical Nigerian will say the same thing a Protocol Officer to the Delta State Governor has said as far as Bola Ahmed Tinubu regime favours him or her. But I love the way Delta youth descended on Mr. Tempo Mudi after he failed to say the simple truth, if youths in other states in Nigeria can act like Delta state youths to any politician feeding them lies I think it will go a long way in fixing this country.

Such statements is the reason why Nigeria can’t grow, how can u openly support such an ill act, what is the moral justification for beating someone almost to the point of death simply because he said his mind? Is Nigeria running an autocratic system where people can’t say their mind? Or have Nigerians lost their freedom of speech? How will you feel if you openly advocate for a candidate of your choice during the next 2027 election probably someone you feel will do better and they beat you up like this? Don’t you know that regardless of how good or bad a leader is that some persons will like him and some others will dislike him. This action is completely condemnable, if we encourage such ill act then we are gradually progressing on a part where there will be absence of freedom of speech, the man is a Nigerian and has the full right to support whoever he feels is best for him, we can’t continue politics of oppression, everyone should be allowed to support their candidate, the governor should immediately shot down the venue of the meeting and bring the culprit of this malicious act to book.

You are seeing things from my angle mate and I'm pretty impressed. For sure this will send a strong message to every other person's that is also trading on our national wealth, enjoying our country wealth all alone while other meaningful citizens lavish in chronic and endless poverty.  Assuming this same measure or action was be extended to the politicians themselves, at least use one or two person's to set a lasting example so that the rest of them will understand that people are just tired the way things is going on in our country Nigeria. However, I consider this a welcome development because revolution is gratually coming through. Nice one 👏
