bitcoin transaction not showing 0.000014 but only 0.14 mBTC

I am trying to buy a very cheap game online on a certain platform and I get 0.14mBTC but it should be showing 0.000014mBTC since the price of the game is 2.66$(Canadian). I think it is simply not capable of showing 4 zero thus showing only 1. Same thing with the warning message at the bottom of the transaction page showing 0.10mBTC for the transaction fee. So what is happening here? Are both amount incorrect? what about the transaction fee? If it is showing 0.10 mBTC and saying it is more than  half the amount of the purchase than by that logic the game would cost me around 22$ in bitcoin.

Which wallet software are you trying to make this transaction from? I think the name of the wallet is needed here for us to be able to detect where the error is coming from. I have paid for a product before from my blue wallet, which was less than $2, and it went through.

Download and familiarise yourself with a popular piece of wallet software like electrum and go from there. Withdraw the crypto you want to spend to that wallet and then transfer it.

You can use a lower fee of all platforms allow you to.

You can also try using a coin that's cheaper and faster like solana if you're new here or don't have much you can afford to spend in fees. At least use it from withdrawing from that exchange or piece of wallet software. I think you can use Phantom (the browser add on/mobile app) to convert solana back into bitcoin to move it to electrum but I'm not 100% sure. Also, don't use a browser add on on your default browser if you mostly use it for sketchy things or are a fiend for clicking on things accidentally or that you don't understand.

(Only suggesting solana here because $22 is way too much).

Sounds like you are using some obscure wallet and the wallet default the fee to certain fixed number, migrating to a well known wallet is going to increase your experience of using bitcoin by a lot.
It'd be great if you can mention the name of the wallet indeed, don't randomly download wallet from playstore or appstore without knowing the right one, some can be buggy and some can be malicious. Supposedly average transaction should only cost 0.0051 mBTC.

I also think you're confusing mBTC and BTC. That number also isn't quite right. 0.14 mBTC is far above 2.66 CAD

Are you sure it is only displayed as mBTC (mBTC) but not as BTC (BTC)?
Because the conversion between BTC and mBTC can cause confusion sometimes.

I don't know you typed it correctly but assume it is 0.000014 BTC, it will be 0.014 mBTC, not 0.14 mBTC like you wrote in your post.

Bitcoin transaction fee depends on two factors: transaction size and fee rate.

Bitcoin transaction fee = transaction size * fee rate.
You can check Bitcoin mempools and choose a fee rate for your transaction.

You transaction size depends on your UTXOs chosen for inputs and transaction outputs.
Perhaps you made that transaction on a centralized service that charges you expensive transaction fee around $10 while you can have it around $0.07 for a transaction with 1 input, 1 output, fee rate as 1 sat/vbyte but you can use a lower fee rate too.

Custody wallet typically limit the minimum spend amount they can handle. If you're using a wallet that allows privatekey/seed export, I recommend switching to one that allows for dust spending, such as electrum.org.
