As long as it goes the same way and the bear market is followed by an all time high, yes then I am looking forward to the halving. The only downside of those halvings coming closer over the years was that the upside potential decreased. If you have had your bag filled up with BTC for a while by now, it doesn't matter as much, but it was always nice to be looking forward to those bullish times as so far it worked as if there was a script being followed by everyone.

You did your job with math and history-based, that is good, I agree with your method but you only can estimate possible bottom range of Bitcoin market in this cycle, this bear market.

From the bar chart of correction percents from ATHs to bottoms, there is a clear trend of smaller % correction cycle by cycle. I believe that it will continue in this market cycle so assume that the percent of correction in this cycle is somewhere from -70% to -60%. With these % correction targets (only possible), let's calculate possible bottom price range, it will be from $40,000 to $52,000.

DCA is very important for making bitcoin accumulation and don't try to bargain prices with the market too much, and don't believe on your math too much, you might miss many entries for accumulation.

Last month Bitcoin price dropped to $57k which is about -54% down from ATH, it was a good time to buy. Actually your expectations are not bad according to past history which is reasonable, but waiting for a specific price is not wise at all. Because Bitcoin is unpredictable, so you can't tell which way the market will go, you shouldn't expect the same as in the past. As I told you earlier in the local thread, it may be wise to buy with DCA strategy instead of waiting, but it's your personal choice because everyone has different strategies.

Personally I have already prepared for the next halving, because I don't like waiting for the perfect price. I have been buying using DCA strategy with a certain amount of my income. This means that what we need to do now is prepare for market conditions. If a price increase does occur, we can certainly experience and feel the benefits. We've been preparing since the low price, consistently increasing our Bitcoin holdings by accumulating them without considering future market conditions.
However, as you say it's also true. It's up to us to capitalize on the current situation.

The time Gap indicates that it's still very far, and thinking of the halving now would be like already having a prepared mindset of wanting to sell off your Bitcoin holdings and probably just holding back because your target hasn't reached yet. It might still be a long way off, more than 600 days but especially for holders who are truly focused on building their Bitcoin investments more seriously, you can get started now. The current price of $62k is already a significant discount, it’s 50% cheaper than the ath. While it’s possible that the downtrend could continue, it’s recommended to buy using DCA rather than making a lump sum purchase.

I remember the last cycle - late in the year around 2022 Bitcoin found a bottom and would end up having a ginormous rally over the next two years. If history repeats, we are going to have good times sooner than people think! The countdown is on. Tick, tock, next block.
