Do you mean inter-exchange or inter-pair?
I doubt arbitrage trading is still worth the time to find opportunities that are currently almost non-existent. Even local exchanges now offer trading bots that increase trading volume and narrow price spreads between exchanges. Not to mention, platform-specific speed constraints for crediting balances due to network confirmation requirements.
I agree with you. The good days of arbitrage are gone. it's very difficult to compete with the bots used by exchanges today. As far as I know, fees, slow internet, and crypto price swings can easily wipe out any profit.
Arbitrage is much riskier unless you have the right tools and can react quickly.
Also, some scam exchanges show fake prices to attract arbitrage traders. They're often nothing more than traps meant to lure arbitrage traders and steal their crypto. That's why it's better to use only trusted CEXs in the market.
