What is Kadikama?Kadikama (KAD) is an open-source cryptocurrency based on Litecoin Core v0.21.5.5, with Litecoin's Scrypt proof of work replaced by RandomX v2.
The network is designed for CPU-oriented mining and uses a blockchain-derived, delayed RandomX seed. Kadikama has no premine: the genesis coinbase is unspendable, as in Litecoin.
Mainnet is live. Public seed nodes, an explorer, a proportional mining pool and wallet builds for Windows, Linux and macOS are available now.

SegWit, Taproot and MWEB are active from launch.
RandomX implementationKadikama hashes the consensus serialization of the 80-byte block header with RandomX v2.
Verification uses RandomX light mode, while full-memory mining uses the full dataset. Both paths produce the same consensus result. For blocks after genesis, the seed is derived from the existing blockchain, changes every 2,048 blocks and activates after a 64-block delay.
