The concept of Bitcoin wey give me hard time to get na the UTXO ( unspent transactions output), before I be dey think say Bitcoin dey work like bank account wey get running balance later l cum get say Bitcoin no dey store balance in account instead e dey track individual former unspent output from previous transaction. Anytime you spend Bitcoin you dey actually spend one or two/more UTXO and dey create new ones as outputs which include change wey go come back your wallet.

‎As I understand UTXOS, Many other concepts start to make sense like the transaction fee, coin control privacy and why wallet dey sometimes create output. It changed the way I view Bitcoin transactions.

‎What about every other person? Which concept of Bitcoin took you time to understand and what helps it click?.

For me it would be the concept of lost coins and how they benefit the rest of the network, especially since we can't even determine if those coins are truly lost. I believe that is one question that has no specific answer. I have researched it many times and I always end up facing the fact that there is no formal way of identifying a lost coin on the blockchain. It's easy to say a long term holder who hasn't moved his coins for years can be mistaken for someone who lost his private keys. That said since there is no concrete proof on lost coins, I just focus on the fact that it makes every other person's coin valuable because Bitcoin has a fixed supply of 21 million That's all.......

As I know things wey concerns Bitcoin dey very large and if you want to focus on all the aspects e go confused you as the investor, so what is better is to go into investment and forget about the rest things that concerns to development.
Sometimes when you are trying to know things that concerns Bitcoin it's giving you more confusion on what you should know about the digital assets that you are investing on.

One thing I have observed about Bitcoin is that the moment you start understanding the terminologies the familiar it gets, just understanding what Bitcoin is, learn the negative and positive aspects, that's certainly sure. Generally everything about Bitcoin sounds ambiguous but the moment and the easiest way to understand is if a person finally starts the Bitcoin journey because the more a person starts seeing the terminologies the more a person gets familiar with the concept. First I was wondering how exchange wallet is applicable to Bitcoin funny, but the moment I start Bitcoin journey I got to understand how it's operated.

What about every other person? Which concept of Bitcoin took you time to understand and what helps it click?.

Bitcoin double spending: I did not believe this could happen since Bity was being taught to me as a currency that is unable to reverse after you have sent out money or coins to another wallet but when I got to understand what double spending means and can do it's turned my world around as I saw it as a big problem and it took me until it happened to someone around me for me to know how dangerous this is. The concept of double spending makes it easy for scammers to trick you into believing that you have received a valid transaction and if you are not careful you might lose a lot of money with this scam trick. I can't imagine a currency praised on irreversible and decentralized transaction being overwhelm by a double spending problem.

It’s definitely about Wallets and Wallet security because to really understand it the right way I had to do additional research multiple times and I’m still learning. Back then to understand better I’d watch some YouTube videos and also read a lot of the available resources on the internet.

With the recent exploit that happened yesterday and today to Coldcard user, you would see how important understanding about Wallets in general is and as a beginner it’s certainly not that easy to learn about but you need to continue learning about wallet and security in general overtime as you continue the investment.

Really? Because to me I think that should be the most easiest Bitcoin concept for anybody to fill understand and apprehend it. Because th acronym "hodl" simply means "Hold On to Dear Life". Which is actually a Bitcoin concept that describes the digital currency as an asset worthy of people holding it on for their dear life, which also means to hold it for long term just as people have been holding Gold for many centuries, and yet it still remains valuable due to the fact that it can be transformed into different shapes without losing its core value and texture. So this also applies to Bitcoin, as an asset that is worth holding for centuries. So in a nutshell, that's what "hodl" simply means.

I thought I was the only one thinking of this too, one thing about lost coin is that it's tough to tell whether they're lost or someone holding longer, it's just there waiting for a day it could be restored and if owners of those coins can't figure out how to recover them, then they'll remain in the wallet forever.

Maybe Satoshi had no reason to fix the problem of lost coin cause he might had believed that everyone should be able to take the security of their wallet seriously and avoid losing their seeds or keys, maybe that's why he focused more on the fixed 21 million supply, I've thought about the lost coin making other people's coin valuable but then the value of everyone's coin is in demand and supply.

‎What about every other person? Which concept of Bitcoin took you time to understand and what helps it click?.
Mine was strictly about crypto walleting way back. This very aspect gave me so much concerned like i wasn't actually getting how the whole concept was till I came to the forum and overtime through the aid of other user's I became used to it through various topics on crypto wallet and couple with some personal research I did on my own in that regard. Indeed the forum is actually a study centre so to speak.
