There's this particular rumours about bitcoin facing quantum threats. The google quantum threats especially, I don't think the community has taken their time to explain to bitcoin users here panicking but shouldn't it be that time when these unhealthy news be cleared once and for all? There are rumours about the chances of facing this attacks with the reducing hash rate every halving, and also seeing Satoshi's Bitcoin holdings taken from his wallets eventually leaving the not your keys, not your coins slogan as a fat joke.
In four sentences one for each, can you OG's clear the air and tell us why we shouldn't panic about these threats?
OG’s and others has been clearing the Air about Quantum computers for a very long time you are the one that hasn’t been doing your search to read what has already been talked about. What are your biggest fears about quantum computing leave what the Rumors are saying aside, what are your thoughts and fears about quantum computers OP?

I am also scared about this quantum computer even now that President Donald Trump had already signed an executive order for the promotion and execution of quantum computer now in the next few years ahead bitcoin communities and ecosystem would face a lot of challenges arising from the threat it would poses and vulnerability to bitcoin wallets, as you rightly said its high time public enlightenment should commenced to cushion the fear of it threat to bitcoin holders else investors might begin to panick and start exchanging their assets to fiat consequently crash or dump the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, of course this is the most appropriate period to start the public enlightenment a delay might not help matter, Now its obvious quantum computer experts must have started their own research behind the scene and very soon would start publishing their White papers.

Quantum computers aren't any risk for Bitcoin as of now but surely when they improve in year 2030 or later then they might pose some risks but before that core developer community of Bitcoin will take a proper action to stop those quantum attacks. When quantum computers get operational by general users then many current services will be at risk before Bitcoin so there will be solution for the quantum computers before their mainstream availability. I know quantum computing is a threat to Bitcoin network but I'm very sure the core developers will do something about it before it could harm any wallet.

The QC scare has been created in the market and it is the centralized wealthy community that wants the world to be in their hands. They do not want to let the independent system of Bitcoin expand. They want their own centralized creation to be printed again and again and fool the people again and again. The group that is campaigning about the quantum threat is evaluating their words and new investors are taking precautions. The question still arises whether this is a real threat and the answer is not yet.

Look, no matter how much time a person spends in trading, it does not matter if he does not gain knowledge about the important things of trading. Many people may have more than one year of experience in trading, but if he cannot figure out what is going wrong while trading, then he will not be able to achieve success. I have seen many experienced traders who have failed despite having experience only because of greed. Again, there are many traders who have less experience but have the ability to control emotions and greed, they have become successful in trading within a short time, if not for a long time. So success does not mainly depend on the age of the trader, but on self-control and some important qualities.

Once a few private keys get hacked, the core team will roll out an update and Bitcoin will survive. According to my crystal ball.
While wait till their is already an error before migrating to anti-quantum? And do you know the amount of damage that can be done at once if there is even a slow success rate, and it's noticeable? The core team are already working on quantum resistance, which should even be long ready before the completion of the so-called quantum computing threat will come to reality.

It's been a threat since several years ago and I think it puts more panic to the people who have seen it recently with how things are happening in the community right now. But there's something that people need to know that if it is to happen that quantum computers will decode private keys of wallets. I guess that the ability to do that are none other than the big tech companies. Do we think that those financial companies investing billions to bitcoin are not aware of this potential threat to it? They are aware of it but why they still invest in it. Because it's proven that it's foolproof.

From the time of joining the forum, I can count many threads created for quantum threats against Bitcoin. If you want, I can look up the threads for you Perhaps you don't visit the technical board often to know what's going on? There are rumours about the chances of facing this attacks with the reducing hash rate every halving, and also seeing Satoshi's Bitcoin holdings taken from his wallets eventually leaving the not your keys, not your coins slogan as a fat joke.

The solution to quantum computers is anti-quantum addresses. I know Bitcoin developers are actively preparing for a new proposal able to stand against quantum computers. Rumors have it that they are waiting for the first quantum attack to know the next move.

This is why institutional investors in Bitcoin do not stop spending significant money as they know that the encryption of Bitcoin can be enhanced by migrating to quantum resistance algorithm in the future. The strength of the network, and willingness of the development team to switch to new cryptographic standards, are important assurances that this digital asset is not vulnerable to superior hacking threat.

For sure, before quantum computers can destroy this technology, developers already find a way how to counter attack this possible scenario.

For sure, before quantum computers can destroy this technology, developers already find a way how to counter attack this possible scenario. Please, let's get this straight. Quantum computers do not pose a direct threat to Bitcoin. Although they can be used to steal BTC from holders whose address public key is exposed. For instance, users of the Electrum wallet experienced no problems with their BTC, whereas users of the Coldcard MK3 lost their Bitcoin to the current hack. This is what users with exposed public keys will encounter. Read what Jameson Lopp has to say about it.
