BTC Sentiment Poll for August

Ok guys...  We're trying the same poll again.  I just wanna see if there are changes in sentiment compared to the one we did last month. 

July we had mostly some guys who were hopeful for a pump but seeing how weak the month closed, let's see if everybody feels the same or not.

Here's what the chart looks like rn.  The wick at the top of last month's candle kinda sucks.

I am still busy buying bitcoin with the little amount of money that I am earning, I know the bull market is coming, I do not mind the money that I have invested but i am still investing. That is how bitcoin is making me feel right now, to invest more before it is too late.

I do not know if bitcoin will fall below $60000 this month but I think it can fall to $60600 before increasing or it could be another mild bear market instead.

In this month of August, I think the market will still be bearish. There may be a little increase in the price of Bitcoin, and it is possible for the price of Bitcoin to dip further below the current price of Bitcoin as of today. All I expect this month is just a little increase with no difference from last month.

In this month, it is expected that investors will continue to buy more Bitcoin at a cheaper rate because it is not yet time for the bull market, and there is no need to panic about the volatility of Bitcoin.

This is what I expect to happen on market knowing that there are lots of uncertain matters still happening.

Also we can add up those potential selling of Strategy which can cause another market disturbance. But hopefully market will go go deeper $60k since if Bitcoin could retain at that level maybe eventually there's some change and those bearish thoughts that we are thinking might not going to happen.

So best of luck to all speculators and let see if market drops at $60k or there's still a surprise then bitcoin will broke $70k for this month.

I would just like to be positive, that's why I voted for it. I mean, we have seen the coldcard issue that could really pull the price down. But so far, nothing of that big effect to the market and this should not be the black swan even for every bear market.

So at least a good $70k in August is not that bad if there are no negative news along the way.

Clarity act does not mean anything, if they like they should not pass the bill to Trump to sign, bitcoin will increase when the time come and the altcoins will follow like how they use to follow like shit coins that pump and dump.

$70k is achievable anyways and who knows maybe we could see that to happen this month. But let's I'm aiming more bigger then want to predict that Bitcoin will hit $75k even if the chance is so slim. In next following days maybe we will get an idea if market will go bullish or bearish in August.

Being positive is a good thing but in the case of bitcoin it doesn't change anything because the market remains unpredicted. I feel it is too early for  bitcoin to get to $70k. Bitcoin price can reach $66-67 if at all their will be rise in it price. The movement for this month can still make one to be panic. This year the price of Bitcoin will move very slow.

If you look at the way the month of July ended, it has always been resistant of $66,000 and we have also been seeing a massive support of $62,000 and above and this shows that we are more likely not to go bearish, but to see the market overcome the resistance and go above $66,000 anytime in this new month, this gives us more indication that we are most likely to get $70,000 and this is where I will have to go bullish for August.

Im curious. What signal or data make you think that, within the next few day, we will have a clearer picture of whether August will be bullish or bearish? 

Bitcoin moves every day, every hour, and even every minute, and there are too many factor that affect its price. I do not think we can determine the trend for the entire month based on just a few day of data.
As always, anything can happen. We can hope that Bitcoin reaches $70k or $75k, but we shouldn't rule out the opposite scenario either.

Personally, I still lean towards the view that Bitcoin is more likely to fall in price in August.

I voted for the fourth one simply because if BTC drops, alts will follow. I like alts to drop even more coz that's what I am eyeing right now. I want to buy alts at a lower price. But it seems the support at $60k+ is kinda strong. If I'm not mistaken, BTC has been staying above $60k for a month now. I thought it would continue to drop yesterday and go back below $60k, but it didn't. Now, it has rebounded again to $63k. Now, it depends on whether the Clarity Act will be approved or not. If yes, maybe we can see $70k again, but if not, we might see $59k again.

As an intermediate investor with my level of experience im panicking!!! The reaction on $66k resistant level was super poor!!! Although the support level was intact, it shook my nerves! Price is hanging again by a thread. Even if it breaks, I'm not expecting a strong breakout. . . I'm ready to buy again in the deep using DCA strategy. That means more tests on support level. Fingers crossed!!! The support will hold this month!

For the chart, the market hasn’t shown any strong resistance to push for a reverse movement to the upside, so my sentiment for the month of August is still bearish. We may see some moves to the upside, but I don’t feel the month will be closing with a bullish momentum state. Last two months have shown how unpredictable bitcoin can be, let’s just hope that this month doesn’t end up consolidating till the end of the month again. The bullish state is not yet certain, and I would stick to the bearish position now unless a change happens before the end of the month.

today is the first day of the month, and bitcoin is trading at around $63k. to reach $70k, bitcoin only needs to gain about 11%, and i don't think that is a particularly difficult task, even in a bear market. its entirely possible, and it could even go higher.

but yes, staying optimistic is good. however, the market moves on its own terms, not according to our expectation. so it is better to have a backup plan instead of being overly optimistic.

I'm not being pessimistic, and I'm not saying you should stop buying. But I think the bull market is still a long way off.

Based on historical pattern, the bear market will likely last until the end of this year, followed by a period of accumulation before the next bull cycle  begin. So there is no need to rush into accumulating Bitcoin and end up making poor financial decision.

Regarding my prediction for this month, August is typically not a positive month. So I expect it to set a new low sometime this month. But I could be wrong

Overall, for this month it might not be much different from July. Bitcoin will still likely move sideways like before. But there might be a slight increase from the previous month. It's not a big movement that drives the market bullish. The market situation might not be much different in April-May.

I pretty much actually voted for the whole quarter to be consolidating because of the history and my predictions was that the market will be between $60k to $80k which it has obeyed. July indeed was consolidating and ended up been with a green candle of 7% which actually was a good one after the second quarter was bearish and also obeys the historical price trend of bitcoin which is usually bullish in the month of July.

Without clearer pattern of the market so far i will be going with bitcoin historical trend and usually the month of August is predominantly bearish with 7 out of the last 10 August months been bearish, I don’t think that of this month will be exceptional I do think it will follow similar pattern probably end up been bearish even if it will be for small percentage like below 5%.

Bitcoin price has been fairly contained in the last month, ranging between $60K and $67K. Bitcoin price has not seen much of a surge, but whenever Bitcoin price has started to move up, selling pressure has immediately slowed down Bitcoin’s upward momentum.
So we will definitely see Bitcoin price in the $70K to $80K range this August, where we saw some upward momentum in the first day of Bitcoin price. Bitcoin price will soon move higher

Many people can make many comments, but I will definitely see the price of Bitcoin in August, a record will be created compared to the last two months. The price of Bitcoin can definitely touch 80k dollars, because at the moment different people and different institutions have deposited Bitcoin in the form of holding for a long time. So there is a huge demand for Bitcoin, the more demand there is for Bitcoin, the more the price of Bitcoin will improve.
But this time is definitely enough time to invest, this year's August is definitely different compared to previous years. So we will definitely see a surprise in the price of Bitcoin in August.
