If this month is indeed one that's not favorable for us in investing, I think it's better to accumulate to increase the amount of investment that becomes our assets for the future. Because in the past few months, and not necessarily August, market conditions have remained very stable at $60,000 and above, and there hasn't been any movement to exceed $70,000.

So, it is very possible for us to wait for market conditions to move higher by simply accumulating Bitcoin as our activity while waiting for market conditions to improve and conditions that are favorable for us in increasing the number of our assets for the next few years.

Currently, we cannot predict future market price conditions, but many are currently very confident that Bitcoin will drop again at the end of this month.
But we will accept whatever happens with market conditions, because for us, buying is part of our basic goal for the next few years, namely having a certain amount of assets for our future. And we do this as part of our savings by increasing the number of Bitcoins that we can collect, so that we don't have high hopes and we will accept what happens with market conditions, whether there is a decrease or an increase.

This is exactly what we should be doing; there is absolutely nothing that we could gain from anything else but buying and holding. I understand the point right now; there is nothing to avoid that. I get that, but we need to be making sure that we are dealing with something that could be very good for us overall. And for that reason, we need to make sure that we could make some great return on this, and could be getting a greater return overall as well.

I understand it is not simple to just buy during this period, because we are seeing it go down, and that makes a lot of people fear. Going down means that people are actually selling; we are here saying we should buy while it's low, and the entire reason is that people are doing exactly the opposite of it: they are selling instead of buying. So of course it's scary, and not everyone will do it, but if you can wait a year or two, I highly suggest buying right now, and wait long term and you should be able to make some returns on it.

My prediction also lies within that zone for bitcoin this month but sometime I also feel maybe the market could go below $60K but will not close below it by end of the month. The market is still looking to be consolidating as usual and hasn’t seen any significant increase that could trigger a change in trend for now. The market price closing between the range of $60-$66K is still a very fair one though, because I’m still anticipating some bearish sentiment soon that could push the market price downwards more before even thinking of a string reversal trend that will push the market upwards once again.

It is actually still quite early of the month. Assuming Bitcoin won't move from the price zone $60k-$66k is too hasty. However, I can understand that you made the such prediction because Bitcoin price didn't move aggressively recently. Well, this can be caused by too many bad news. Or investors stop to buy in massive numbers because they still want to "see & watch" first the market condition. But I assume it won't be so difficult crossing $66k if we have good news in the near future. In some exchanges, Bitcoin could reach $65k today, so it is quite close to $66k, right? Considering the current move of Bitcoin, I'm quite confident that Bitcoin won't drop again to below $60k this month.

Unlike me, although I've already mentioned price speculation that there's hope for a price increase, I'm not trying to convince you because market sentiment may differ.
On August 6th, the price was still trading at $64,650. This is a good signal, according to my analysis, for the first week. If the price remains around the current level at the start of the second week, it won't deviate from the current price as the August close.
People's anxiety over everything happening globally may be starting to change, even though some geopolitical situations remain unstable.

It is actually still quite early of the month. Assuming Bitcoin won't move from the price zone $60k-$66k is too hasty. In fact, BTC is currently in a consolidation phase, given that it has been fluctuating slightly above and below the $65k level for quite some time now. This is actually a sort of threshold level, and it’s not yet entirely clear which direction the BTC price will take this month. Personally, I wouldn’t rule out a continuation of the bearish scenario just yet, even though some positive signals have recently appeared on the BTC chart.

Good close to the week seems like it will happen tomorrow with BTC closing above the first section of Fibonacci retracement on the 80k high we lost so tragically in May start.   The first rung on a ladder higher is the hope despite the very lowly slow Bitcoin price action its a fair possible scenario.
  
  It only took 4 bars to lose the gains recovered from Feb to May, so just 4 weeks and its been double that to even begin to retrace or regain back what was lost.  That much is typical, loss is fast and most gains are slow to recover.   BTC only really goes very fast when its in new territory and this is old pricing now so volume is in the way and active buying is needed to digest the old debris of prior failed trades and holders who want to sell.

To recapture the old May high would also meet back BTC to its 200 day average, so a good target but I dont see how its happening this month especially, not unless Dollar index is losing 1% regularly throughout the month not just one offs.

The market price we have seen since the beginning of August has been in the range of $60k--$65k. However, many have predicted that the market may move closer to $70k by the end of August, although the possibility of this happening is very low, but a major decline is not expected in the market. There are many people among the various speculations who are very afraid of the negative aspects of the market, but I think the market is unlikely to go down much further. Looking at the candles of the market in this August, it seems that it may not be possible to go up in the coming days. However, it cannot be said yet whether the market will be in the range by the end of August. If there is a decline, it may also come down, and if there is no decline, it may remain above $65k.

TBH, historically, August is usually bearish or sideways so I'm not going to expect a ton of upside this month. However, price has maintained around the $60K level for a prolonged period of time and this is quite a significant sign imo as it remains above it despite the selling pressure. I do not see that talk of $70K-$80K as a definite, but more as a possibility (around 11% only, which isn't too crazy even with the market being a little bit hesitant).

I'm not quite sure of the status I'm in, but I'm somewhere between "cautiously hopeful" and “just waiting for now.” Not really a rush to go all-in at these levels, but not a bad time to keep on stacking sats DCA imo. I'm just watching how much it takes to see if that $60K support is going to hold if we do see another wave of selling — if it does, it's a positive sign for the next leg up. If it snaps, we may be in for more chop until some clarity emerges.

The price area that still looks stable and doesn't move beyond the $65K range seems like there isn't much bullish sentiment for Bitcoin yet, at least not until this year is over. Because if you want to look at the four-year cycle, you'll also know where the most talked-about bullish sentiment is. But when it comes to success, I definitely don't deny that, because all this time we've seen many people succeed after being able and willing to hold Bitcoin long-term or for those willing to be patient for one to two cycles (four years), which is what I meant.

You are right that international trade fluctuates in light of the global situation, and the demand for Bitcoin also changes accordingly, however note that the Bitcoin market was halted due to the hacking incident from the hardware wallet but it seems Bitcoin can again surpass all speculations and touch $70k this August.

The US president greatly underestimated the Iranians. Unlike the Israelis, whose militaries are accustomed to war and know very well how the Iranians operate, the US president and his military are not used to war. Therefore, they were caught off guard by Iranian attacks in certain countries where they have bases.

Iran's blackmail regarding the Strait of Hormuz has meant that, even though Iran doesn't have a superior military presence compared to the US, it's not yielding easily, and this is costing the US president dearly.

Everything is worsened by the tariffs he's been imposing on other countries. Honestly, I see that in the end Trump will have to concede on everything: he'll have to let the Iranians act as they always have, and as soon as this conflict ends, the price of Bitcoin and altcoins will rise. But I highly doubt it will surpass $100,000 anytime soon.

You're right. In fact, despite the Coldcard scandal and the BTC theft, the market didn't suffer the crash many expected. It continued its course.

For now, as long as geopolitical tensions subside and no acts of war occur, the market could return to its normal rhythm, and the price of BTC could begin to gradually rise, allowing investors to regain their security and confidence.

You're right. In fact, despite the Coldcard scandal and the BTC theft, the market didn't suffer the crash many expected. It continued its course.

The community actually was lucky that the stupidity/issue happened in ColdCard, a hardware wallet that sold a lot LESS wallets than the Trezor and the Ledger wallets.

That's a Silver Lining that we should find in that situation.

I was not very optimistic about the price of Bitcoin rising too much last month. My expectations for this month are also not very high. The price of Bitcoin is still in an upward trend on the last day of the first quarter of this month.

Never say never. Overly confident predictions usually turn out to be wrong, and what’s worse is when public figures make them because there’s a high probability that ordinary people will listen to their opinions and end up losing money.
By the way, BTC is now trading below $64k again, meaning it’s still very close to that important support level around $60k, which the bears have tested repeatedly in the past. Personally, I wouldn’t be so sure that they won’t want to test that level again.

It's also laughable that people of their status make predictions like the rest of US, the mere PLEBS. Personally, most of us PLEBS are the stupid people in the community, so when we make such predictions, the fellow PLEBS who read them take them with a grain of salt like my Four-Year-Cycle post in masterluc's "Analysis" topic.

Historically speaking, August tends to be a slaughter month, the reddest of them all, but this time around we see almost no action.
A third of the month has already past and we are +1.31% in green with no dramatic ups or downs. If we carry on like this till the end of the month, it could paradoxically it could be taken as a good sign, i.e. as an indication that we have already reached the bottom and it's a good time to start buying.
